Problem: A lot of that data is actually on read-only media. Apparently fagbook started doing that with some of their cold data many moons ago since DVDRs were so cheap it made sense to store data that was infrequently accessed on dirt-cheap media rather than wasting money on HDDs or SDDs. In other words... not gonna happen.

SMS 2FA users absolutely btfo by the Zuck.

If anyone is using sms authentication on sites I would strongly advise changing them to use something like Google Authenticator ASAP. Doubly so for anything related to cryptocurrency.

always disable sms two-factor where you can.

Sim swap attacks are trivial and it’s even been shown that you can pay telco Pajeets to divert SMS messages for target numbers.

I mean, if you're going to go that far, I'd much rather send commando teams to steal everything they have and then analyze it at leisure so all the Karens who glowpost on Fagbook can be identified and, uh, given a bouquet of flowers for their trouble.
