Aw, gorl, it's just the farms being the farms. I don't see anything objectively bad about MichaelBePetty either. He comes off a bit too SJW for some folk's taste and he can get a tad self-righteous, but he doesn't bother me. He's not wrong most of the time and at least he's a productive human being. I'm not entirely sure why there's a huge hate boner outside of what I just outlined, but he's OK by me.

The reason why I dislike Micheal is because he's a massive hypocrite. He is the first to call AL out on her using her weight for a reason why her life is so terrible while turning around, claiming that he's the victim of racism and homophobia in such an evil country and that everyone should pity him. He's the kind of progressive that will scream at "inbred hicks" (his words about Becky and her family) for being racist xenophobes who can't appreciate other cultures while being xenophobic towards traditional southern culture.

I said this before, but the AL hayders are made up of the same SJW Tumbrl teen "slay gorl" culture that have, just on this occasion, agreed with the farms that AL is an attention whore who has been shown to be a horrible person.

Lezbereal. He's right about Becky's family. Cone on, surely that's an example of him being right. Yes, he goes OT about his struggles occasionally, but he's not wrong here. They are backwoods, holler hicks. There's nothing wrong with calling it what it is and I don't think it's coming from a place of necessarily feeling superior as much as it's just an observation.

ETA: PL incoming, I'm a southerner and I never take anything he has said as a blanket statement about "southern culture" whatever that means. The only "southern culture" I'm aware of is wearing ugly hats to church, gossiping, drinking sweet tea and hating on The University of Alabama. Southern culture, if that's what we're calling it, is much more than absolute layabout hicks with no education and no ambition. White trash is white trash no matter where you put them and we should feel free to call it out for what it is.
 
Honestly I don't hate his views on Amber (other things yes to which I avoid like the plague) but honestly the sassy gay guy shtick can get old

Personally, I don't think he's even *close* to being as sassy as Zachary Michael, and I wouldn't necessarily call that a "schtick" especially if they're like that in real life. As far as MichaelBePetty, his branding requires "sassy gay guy" (with use of "BePetty" in his name), and Zach built his channel on his effiminate gayness. And whether or not Michael is the same way in real life as he is on his channel, his branding almost *requires* "sassy gay guy" at this point. lol I really do appreciate you guys sharing your thoughts about him. It's good to know that not all kiwifarmers are baseless haters, which is what kept me from joining in the first place. If anyone else has any thoughts (especially if you can't STAND him), hit me! I'm open!

I get the feeling that he projects a lot of his feelings about himself on to AL. They really aren’t too different if you look at them closely. He probably sees a lot of himself in her, that’s why can read her so well. You know what he also reads well? The farms. He seems to bring up what people say here- sometimes word for word without credit and that is shitty to me.

I liked him in the beginning until his popularity seemed to go to his head. I like humility in people. Big egos are a turn off.

My issue with him is I don’t watch his videos for anything other than to hear him refute ambers bullshit, not for him to pause the video every ten seconds to talk in length about himself, his issues and how he’s so much better than her. I mean being a better person than a 600lb, bedridden megafat that’s lied about rape and treats her animals like shit isn’t exactly difficult but he makes a point of filling us in on every aspect of his life compared to hers. He’s not that entertaining beyond his rebuttal of ambers logic and because he’s had a boost in subscribers he somewhat thinks he’s funny and endearing.

I disagree that Michael is a functioning member of society. He GoEs To ScHoOl OmG and he acts like he's going to fucking Harvard. Please. School is just another privilege that Grandma/Mommy/Daddy paid for so that Michael wouldn't hate himself more.

He has no idea what it means to come from nothing, yet he loves to play that race card -- he would LOVE nothing more than to be an actual victim of society, but alas, he's simply not. He's middle class suburban and the type to look down on his thugs/gangsters brothers, but will pull that Black card if it works for him.

He's so smug and such a know-it-all, I'd love to see him thrown in the middle of the jungle and try to survive or something.

I don't doubt that Becky's family are just hicks. Christ, watching the blogs is like a real life version of Squidbillies. It's just the hypocrisy that gets me. If Becky was from the hood or from a different country, would Micheal call them names since Becky would have a higher score at the oppression Olympics?

Personally I think Micheal was the bullied fat kid at school and now he wants to be apart of the popular table and to be the main mean girl but it comes across as fake and a desperate attempt to relive high school.

I agree with you, especially on the last part. I like watching ZM because he seems pretty down to earth, and doesn't let the popularity of his cow videos get to his head. MBP, on the other hand, turned full DSP about it. Huge ego, his livestreams are (or were, haven't watched in a while) just an annoying circle jerk mess, and he gets too powerlevel-y because he thinks people actually care.
 
I go with the general rule of I expect idiots on youtube to powerlevel. If I can tolerate their personality, I'll continue to watch. ZM and MBP are on the low end of annoying for me, sometimes they do shit that makes me twitch, but more often than not, they're decent white noise.

I think it depends on what commentary you want. I think ZM is, honestly, a little too nice to our gorl. He wants her to do better from a genuine place, and while that's admirable, Amber needs tough love. Oppositely, MBP just sort of rants. It makes it amusing, because there is something nice about someone being unafraid to go "she's a selfish fat idiot" but it also leads to more powerlevels.
 
I don't hate MichaelBePetty and I watch him because sometimes he can be funny when talking about our gorl. But, a lot of time he is up his own ass. Just yesterday he tweets something along the lines of "Hey, I know I'm so popular but you guys need to stop asking me to make a new ALR video. I'll get around to it when I want, all you peasants just have to wait". Not his quote, but that was the tone.

And wasn't he the one screaming to his adoring housewife fans to report AL's "dietian'? He's not the stable, clear thinking individual he claims. He can't be. He's still a big fat fatty with a fatty mentality.

When he is not hired/let go from a hospital because of his YouTube hate circle jerk he's got going on he will do something worse than screaming how he's a different kind of fat chick than all the fat chicks on the intenet.
