"Rich, white gay people are just as bad as the cishets and are ignoring our struggles that have nothing to do with us being LGBT! Boo!"
I have a feeling they will eventually start turning on the gays (or at least the richer white, CIS ones).

They finally did an article on what exactly privilege is. The thing is that while it wasn't the shame-inflicting screechfest I thought it would be, there's still something that grates on me with the whole "check your privilege" thing. (That I can't put my finger on.)

Reading this article on hetronormativity will give you the reason why EF has a problem with gay marriage. Because monogamous marriage is part of male oppression that is part of white supremacy, strict gender roles and male oppression. (Thus, it only appeals to the CIS, upper class white gays who are trying to appeal to the oppressors.) It feels like if you don't appeal to their way of thinking (monogamy is icky), then you're part of an evil system.

How euphoric of them.

What do they have against the Jewfro?
That's a good question, what would they think?

I also found this little treat where make-up has it's patriarchal roots and if you make a choice you have to think how oppressive and patriarchal it could be and support anyone who doesn't because they're oppressed. What a walk-on-eggshells world these people live in.

So what we've learned is that nobody can have a "legitimate" reason to not be feminist because all women who don't identify as feminist were either snubbed by more privileged, Not Real Feminists or they have too much privilege to see the light for what it truly is.

I would almost think that dismissing a woman's experiences offhandedly based on your preconceived notions doesn't seem too feminist, but you know.

It's really neat how they know what women really mean, moreso than the women they're speaking for. I guess those poor womyn just can't figure out if they're feminists or not without someone else to help them.

Do I need to say this in every thread? Archive in case they change something or take it down.

So to these people a homeless white cis man would have more privilege than a black woman earning 100K+ *sigh*

It's all or nothing with those people. If you're not working to smash kyriarchal oppression in all its forms, you can't be pro-LGBT/feminist/anti-racist. Can they accept that people have different priorities when it comes to rights movements?

Jesus Christ, I've had my hair in cornrows and I have had hair extensions done up in braids and it was done by a black person I would think that person would have had said something but they didn't. Then again it was years ago before all this SJW bullshit started. I don't know why they think that it's evil if white people have black hairstyles and that article is just ridiculous. Then again I am a white female shitlord that wears African clothes at times.

I was going to say, the fact forensics can accurately identify the gender of human skeletal remains kinda shoots down that idea.... but you know.... science be damned if it doesn't conform to my feelings!

The problem really isn't that people can have some real flighty and self-centered ideas or thoughts on shaky or non-existent evidence, the problem is when they start insisting everyone else believe them too.

As someone studying forensic anthropology I can 100% say there are some pretty significant differences between male and female skeletons, especially from the mid-20's on. Male skulls have more prominent brow ridges and more narrow pelvises. A female who has given birth is instantly identifiable by the spreading of their pelvis. There are other, more subtle differences but those are the main ones.
Hate to tell them, but you can tell a person's race from their bones too. Fuck them if they say it's racist/sexist, because we use that information to put names and faces to remains that would otherwise remain unidentified. What are they doing to help the families of people who would otherwise never get closure? Shit all.

That one black person who did your hair doesn't speak for all black people, but the people who agree that cornrows are oppressive do. Jeez.

I used to have a blonde jewfro, and it just grew in like that without me doing anything. An Indian girl told me I had biracial hair.

I'm so sorry for that appropriation.

I love how every person who gets all up on the appropriation of hair thing conveniently shuts the fuck up when you show them evidence that Celts and Vikings both wore dreadlocks and practiced tattooing.

No wait they don't, they just say that just cause some white people did it, doesn't mean it's part of "white culture", cause all white cultures are the same to them.
