People from the middle east, mostly Syria are fleeing to Europe because of war and poverty. People are dieing just trying to cross the Mediterranean. The EU is trying to solve the crisis while other countries are closing their borders.

I keep hearing people shit on Pope Francis for this and it's really not the way you think it is. @AnOminous said it best in a different thread:

Unsurprisingly, vigilantes are lashing out against refugees for what happened in Cologne. Obviously viciously attacking random people is wrong (now, if they were actually in the act of robbing/raping/assaulting, that's a different story). But I feel like this is just the start of what we're going to be seeing in 2016. Europeans are getting completely fed up with their governments, which keep inviting migrants in without doing background checks and then covering up the crimes said migrants commit. More and more reports are being leaked which show that police and governments are deliberately turning a blind eye to migrant violence.

So because the police aren't doing their jobs, citizens are deciding to take it upon themselves. Because the leftist governments are displaying braindead-level stupidity in the name of tolerance, citizens are going to start supporting parties that are farther right. Europe is completely fucking itself over by neglecting its citizens and it's not going to end well.

For eastern Europe, even the worst savages we home grew are not as bad as the migrants. The huge discrepancies between rape in afflicted and unafflicted countries shows that.

Agreed, but the situation is very similar to a man with no penis telling another man with a penis how he should use his own noodle, if you have no experience running anything besides a group of pervs in robes, then you need to mind your own business and accept while elitist governments may humor you, the average citizen will probably not. It is absolutely mind-boggling to me how these people care more about looking progressive and avoiding being called names than the welfare of their home countries, their citizens, and the cultures and values that are within. They're honestly risking a civil war by refusing to acknowledge their citizen's concerns and they don't even care. If something like the Cologne attacks happened in my hometown and I happened to be mayor, you bet your ass I wouldn't be making excuses for the perpetrators and victim-blaming. I'd be calling for the deportation of all those indicted. And if some bleeding-heart liberals whined about it, they could cry me a fucking river, which I would then use to deport the criminals.

You know, as much Europeans shit on America for not being as ~enlightened~ and ~culturally enriched~ as they are, at least shit like this wouldn't happen here. It's true that the PC Police are becoming more a presence, but at least tons of people (including politicians) don't give a shit about being called names. I honestly cannot picture anything like the Rotherham scandal or the recent and relentless cover-ups of crimes committed by refugees happening here.
