I’d be curious what the anorexia fans were exposed to as children. So many paraphilias are rooted in childhood exposure to something extreme or outside the norm that sticks in the brain.

I think it actually comes from the same vein as the physical disability fetish folks. Let's face it, Eugenia and other severe Anorexics are basically physically disabled or close to it. As with the women so fat they become immobile.

If they enjoy it and get off on it, I'm not sure I can call them victims. Yeah, it's a fucked up mental illness, but like all mental illnesses, treat it and work with it, overcome the issues with it, not stay in an unhealthy mental mind frame. They want to be this way. This isn't forced starvation against their will. Now, if they can work to overcome it and slowly and be a survivor, it's commendable.

I think that's exactly it. The sit-up thing, for example. The point for them isn't to watch her successfully complete a sit-up, it's to watch her feebly attempt and fail. If she were actually able to do it and not look like she's in pain from her unpadded bones grinding against the hard floor, then she'd be too healthy and capable to be appealing.

It's quite... unusual isn't the word because this is quite usual, it's a bit jarring to watch well off daddys girls like EC make themselves into fetish bait like this and yet look at the amount of fans they have.
