I keep hearing advertisements for a class action lawsuit whenever I tune into the traffic report, they're looking for parents whose kids developed an eating disorder because of tiktok or youtube. I'm guessing now that the original lawsuit has been settled this just opened up the door for a bunch of class actions?

Yeah, what platforms are doing in regards to skellys and deathfats is dumb. Claiming that them just existing on the platform constitutes a violation is very shaky ground.

It is absolutely fucking retarded and an indictment of society in general that these platforms' top-dollar legal teams evidently do believe there is a solid chance that they could lose in court against some fucking useless brainstem who has decided that their (or their kids') mental health is some tech company's responsibility.

In cases like Eugenia's I don't even understand how it's supposed to work. So fat people can't really eat on screen because it's an addict feeding their destructive habit, ok... and if Eugenia is still problematic despite covering up and not discussing food/health, I take it underweight people not allowed to show themselves on screen while they're not eating. Would Eugenia be allowed to make videos if she was talking with her mouth full between bites of Krispy Kreme the entire time? Or is eating so much "unhealthy" regardless of who shows themselves doing it? To be safe, we better ban all depictions of people consuming food in videos... but oh shit, according to the DSM 5 "anorexics" don't even have to be underweight, so a person is not actively consuming food, my god, they're clearly promoting atypical anorexia (which is every bit as serious/valid and fuck you if you try to claim otherwise).

The whole thing is just an M. C. Escher maze of retardation and as confusing as this one is to me I assume the worst by default of every gay moral panic with an end goal of arbitrary censorship.

So you're spot on about the rest but no, a company deciding you can't say that here isn't censorship, it's moderation. Social media isn't some innate freedom of speech thing, you can just... not use it. I'm pro-say whatever the fuck you want, but the next step in that is "but you can't say it here". These platforms are designed to draw in kids, and it's not censorship to acknowledge the age of your user base and moderate accordingly. The government has no business pulling "protect the kids" but TikTok certainly can, and should.
 
I've heard of TikTok shadow banning physically disabled and deformed people years ago. I think that was 2022? There was some sort of controversy around it. That appeared to be the beginning of censorship of the undesirables.

Eugenia and other severe anorexics getting banned or morbid obese women and men not being allowed to make videos appears to be the future of this type of social media. Cleaned up and sanitized. This is equivalent to gentrification of a city.

The old internet represented the good, the bad and the ugly. The new Internet is sanitization of the human experience. What a total bore.

It's Sinicization, really.

Fatties can only make videos if they're in mockery of themselves, used for sadistic reasons etc etc (as in China). Maybe skellies get something like that too? Content is only getting violently thrown around the room or blown out of rooms by fans, that sort of shit.

Of course, this, combined with looksmaxx neurotic faggotry, will mean real life will soon be sanitized so as well - I have very low opinions of these people, so I wouldn't be surprised if 2/3rds of the western world simply annihilates itself through vicious cycles of purity spiraling such things

I'm sure this has been brought up, but does anyone know what's happening to her teeth? I know this is related to the weight loss and eating disorder but I don't know what's happening exactly

Depends on the eating disorder. Anorexia, which is what our lovely lady here is dealing with, causes severe nutritional deficiencies, including calcium, which is part of what makes up your teeth. The body stores calcium in bones, and pulls from its stores as needed. Because Eugenia is not eating, her body is pulling nutrients from absolutely everywhere it can in order to keep running: her hair, her skin, her bones, and her teeth are some of the largest victims, with musculature being another obvious one. The general decay on the enamel itself is due to her body leeching calcium from any possible place it can--once you start getting dental degredation, it's a sign that the body has really run out of reserves.

If she also struggles with Bulimia, this will compound the issue, because consistent long-term exposure to stomach acid causes enamel wear and eventually leads to structural weakness and decay, particularly starting around the gumline (recessed---as you can see due to the chronic nutritional deficiencies) because that's the hardest part to clean for most people.

Shame, really. She had quite a cute face and lovely dentition.
