Just think, this couple raised two children (now adults) who will never be able to function on their own. So what happens when mom passes away? It’s a good thing this family has money so daddy can hire help for his failure-to-launch kids. I do have to cut a little slack for the brother, though. Isn’t he some degree autistic?

I noticed a pattern with mothers like Deb which is that they always program their children for planned obsolescence. A controlled demolition or self destruction. Usually when they become old enough that they may leave and when it is no longer cute for mommy to show them off. After that mommy is pretty much relieved to be rid of them.

That’s the point, though, mom is an enabler and has been that way a while. If Eugenia had been expected to do things for herself rather than have Mommy dearest do it all for her, she might not have allowed herself to get so frail, for practical reasons.

It’s one of the most important and overlooked aspects of being a good parent - doing too much for them circles back around to being just as bad (or worse) than neglect. Spoiling them and enabling addictions and mental illness is bad parenting, full stop. From a young age, you should be giving children ample opportunity to do things for themselves (and allow them to fail at it). You’re raising them to be an adult, not a forever dependent. I never advocate for the whole kicking kids out at 18 thing, but they should be mentally able to leave if they want at that age.

I actually know a man whose mother tried to stop him from leaving at 18 to go to college because he didn’t know how to do the laundry. She intentionally didn’t teach her only son any cleaning or cooking or other life skills so that he wouldn’t leave (he left btw).

They are more than old enough and they are definitely not cute anymore, walking with these two is like having the damn circus come to town. It seems like the opposite to me - she screwed the kids up and made them incompetent so that they could not leave.

I doubt very much that she's ever been followed by Paparazzi themselves, unless they randomly stumbled upon her while following someone else. The more likely scenario is that someone spotted her and provided/sold the post to TMZ/Daily Mail, etc. This happens a lot. It could be that a random independent "journalist" saw her while traveling OR just some random from the internet who recognized her. They have a place on their websites to send in tips and things like that.

No healthy person is going to look at Eugenia and think they want to be like her, you already have to be balls deep in an ED to think her body is goals. She looks ugly enough now that she could be used as a cautionary tale. Whenever I see her, I feel compelled to grab a snack.

She never gave tips and tricks for anorexia, yes we all know her content was what it was but she didn’t violate any clear-cut rules. Fat liberation retards actually do that because they promote binge eating and obesity, whereas Eugenia just lived her little shriveled existence within the rules. I hate this “what about the kids” garbage - if teenage girls are such lemmings that allowing them to see anything unusual makes them act like lunatics, maybe we need to rethink how they’re raised in general, rather than just trying to slap a bandaid on it by taking MY PT Barnum tier FREE freakshow off the Internet.

It's a bunch of retarded parents letting their retarded kids access to the internet and then throwing up their hands about the 'inevitability' of said kids getting on the internet.

If these parents were far more strict about internet use and didn't act as if kids were these supersmart digital geniuses who they are somehow powerless to stop from going behind their backs to accessing the internet, then maybe bubble wrapping everything wouldn't be necessary. Rather they just give up and then act shocked and horrified at the results.

Weird, according to this study it's the exact opposite, 80% of people with the 'tism lived independently and only 20% still lived at home.
Most people who post on this site are autists, especially here in the salon. Do you think all of us are still living in our parents' basement?
