I've seen a very emaciated but young woman's organs including the stomach, liver, spleen, and kidneys. They have a smooth, wet, and almost thick appearance, and they do look too small. They remind me of the smooth side of dates in between fresh and dry. They're not as bloody and lovely as other healthy people organs. They're pastier looking and drier.

I think as long as you're not dumping a bunch of drugs and alcohol in the mix, I think someone could come back from it. I think you could revitalize a person, and while it wouldn't undo all the problems, I think you could live a normal life. The trouble is with anorexics is that mental illness is so rarely standing alone with one coping mechanism. There's always another poison on deck. There's always binging. Drugs. Alcohol. Pica.

Eugenia is not a teen. She is a stunted, spoilt retard, but a fully grown one. Children acting like retards on Tiktok is developmentally appropriate, what I find disturbing is that they're not growing out of it anymore. Personally I find it a much bigger problem that so many grown ass adults continue to behave like this, never develop a halfway acceptable degree of basic emotional resilience, and seemingly fail to ever grow past the stage where their main priority in life is doing whatever they hope will win them social validation and attention from other retards who they don't even really like or respect, purely for its own sake. A lot of it is social media, yes, but I think people are letting the utter cancer that is pop psychology off the hook here far too easily.

I like to think that subjecting these people to intense ridicule and dismissing their opinions entirely is part of my civic duty.

I would argue the state of Douyin (Chinese Tiktok) is worse than Western TikTok. It's all brainrot or fetish content, all the currently popular social media stars got there for being retarded or catering to oddly specific weird fetish shit like changing clothes in public or struggling to do basic tasks.

The vibe I get from this is like one of the popular kids in high school "sticking up" for one of the "undesirables" as a thinly veiled way to further mock that person. Part of the reason why is because what he's saying is very obviously not true, provided that you have at least one working eye. Eugenia is completely oblivious to it.

I totally agree. And Jeffree is also pretty obviously anorexic and I think he’s partly jealous of her but also feels superior because no one ever calls out his eating disorder.

She went to sub only chat shortly after because the comments were beginning to be too much. Makes me wonder if her MODs abandoned her since they haven't been deleting the comments.

I think this is very true. People can and do physically come back from severe anorexia, even long-term anorexia. They probably will have some lingering health issues (osteoporosis is very common, for instance), but their quality of life is far, far better than it was before. Bodies are pretty incredible.

The second part of this is also true: anorexia rarely occurs in a mental illness vacuum. People who gain weight without doing the necessary psychological work are also likely to replace anorexia with some other terrible and destructive coping mechanism. Treatment of anorexia isn't only about gaining weight; it's also about figuring out what purpose anorexia serves in your life. For Eugenia, anorexia is pretty useful in ways we can see as well as in ways we can only speculate about. I imagine that mental health practitioners would recommend that she get off of social media and establish healthy boundaries with and physical distance from her family, and none of that seems very likely to happen. Eugenia herself doesn't appear to want to do any of those things.

As for the Trump stuff, I do wonder how much of it is her stirring up rage-as-engagement. She's been booted from TikTok once, and it obviously scared her (so much that we didn't even get the nasty Santa outfit this year). She's been on social media long enough to know that outrage equals engagement. Her family may ver well support Trump, but I can't see Eugenia herself having any deeply-held political convictions. She sure likes attention, though.
