She was once a beautiful girl with Anorexia. Losing her looks like she has recently must be pretty tough on her. She is so vain. The way her face will start to look in the coming months and years is going to be horrifying. I think she'll lose her teeth eventually.

Ashley is in a wheelchair and she's clearly winning out of the gate. She'll try to get Eugenia to drink bottles of water and Eugenia will break character and show us her real face, and that tee-hee bullshit isn't her actual personality.

TL;DR (the video is not really worth watching in full imo):

Eugenia's body is apparently rejecting water, and people speculate if it could be due to organ failure. This happened during one of her latest livestreams during mother's day.

They also speculate that she's already dead (at around 19:00 into the video) because she's been posting drafts (I have no idea how to prove/disprove that) on her social media &, quote, 'weird accounts are posting comments that they've seen her out and about'. And her posts have already been old reuploads since mother's day.

I'm just repeating what's being said in the video, I'm neither a doctor, nor a specialist, nor very deeply involved in the Eugenia-lore. Just found this mildly interesting.

Edit to add: if anyone's wondering "what the fuck happened on mother's day" - here's a recording of the livestream I mentioned above. She drinks a few sips of something during it, and ends the stream abruptly because something happens and she's obviously in pain or about to throw up or both.

I know your feeling, little girl, I know...

Maybe I know nothing about children and am looking way too deep into this, but that child looks like she's already in the midst of an eating disorder herself and got triggered by seeing Eugenia. The way she's clutching her arm while staring at her unnerves me. I don't think it's normal for a kid to be that lanky.

Nah, while I understand the feeling, kids are spindly little things sometimes. Especially during/after a growth spurt or during the awkward tween years. Their bone growth just takes off and the rest of the tissue takes a while to catch up, even longer if they’re a picky eater.

Nah, she's just slender. This is how all the girls I knew growing up looked (as well as my nieces), none of them had anorexia growing up. We've become so accustomed to seeing overweight adults and children that we forget how normal weight people are supposed to look.

Not trying to pick on you, just making a general observation. People who lose weight as adults consistently report that they start to get "you're too skinny" comments as soon as they get into a normal bmi.

Kids are weird, especially before puberty, with their weight. They either look very slender or like a butterball turkey but as long as their parents have them eating decently, it really does work itself out.

The scary thing is its kind of impossible to tell and plenty of girls can look normal while also having ED in the early stages (esp bulimia), although I wouldn't be surprised if she had already started to develop restrictive habits at that age. Based on the mom, she likely never had a chance to see what a healthy diet/normal relationship with food can look like while growing up.

Ashley and Eugenia would probably hate each other. They'd be making passive-aggressive swipes at each other within 5 minutes of meeting.
So they should live together on an Anorexic fish tank style show with mirrors everywhere to bodycheck.

We can call it "glass houses"

The part about her account uploading old footage is interesting, but the video is so badly done it’s hard not to take it with a massive pinch of salt.

I don't understand why she insists on going around wearing that dress made from 1980s lace kitchen curtains. It doesn't even fit her dreadful emo aesthetic, and it's just ugly as sin.

I was wondering if she’s going for an image change? Her outfits and makeup seem like they’re aiming for kind of different feel than usual. Is she emulating someone or something? I also noticed her filters seem at full blast. I guess the fact that she is looking extremely old and ragged is getting to her.

Are we forgetting the toxic weight and look standards for women in Asia? I don't think it's a race issue. In Eugenia's case, yes, she's mentally ill but at this point she is addicted more to people talking about how thin she is than how thin she thinks she is herself.

EDIT: wow only a few sentences and I still managed to make a typo smh

I think the Asian/ all races thing is recent! Back in the day it really was a white girl disease, so it’s stuck in some of our heads that it only affects whites girls because that’s how it was in the 90s/ 2000s. But it spread to Asia with the growth of Kpop especially in the 2010s. At this time anorexia kind of fell off in the US as trans ideology and being a munchie seemed to replace it as the social contagion du jour.

The Dutch documentary people refer to sometimes in this thread about the Anorexic teenager that died should be very eye opening for people (especially the Reddit crowd that talks about Eugenia). It's a terrifying documentary because the mental disease didn't have a cause. There was no trauma, the family wasn't dysfunctional but for whatever reason the daughter become super mentally ill with Anorexia and then died of it. She also looked horrifying towards the end.

Everyone likes to speculate about Eugenia having mountains of trauma and being abused but what if none of this happened? Maybe the problem is just her brain. Deb did not make her daughter become an Anorexic either. Jesus Christ. We don't know what causes a mental illness like this.
I've seen that documentary! Very eye opening for those who have never experienced an ED before. It's absolutely heart breaking because you can tell towards the very end that poor girl was trying to get better--she simply ran out of time.

The water thing is correct. She may not drink fluids orally which is why she reacted like that. She may get intravenous fluids only (just my guess).

The Dutch documentary Emma Wants to Live is free on Youtube, and is able to be found here. Sorry if this is late, but just a refresher for people who might be curious to watch. It is pretty emotional, but Eugenia has definitely been approaching that stage for awhile now. Won't be long until she looks exactly like Ash.

If she was getting fluids (or anything else, really) intravenously, I feel like there would be visual evidence. With the average person, there might not be a mark at all after getting fluids for a stomach bug or whatever, but Eugenia isn't an average person. There would be no hiding a bruise unless it's done somewhere hidden by clothes. Then again, the change in her clothing as of late could suggest this is a new development. There's certainly more fabric these days. So who knows.
