This. This exactly. Folks don’t seem to realize that Faith let Gunt off really easy. They came to terms out-of-court, allowing Gunt to avoid the Court digging into his finances. Faith didn’t have to do that, but she did. It doesn’t look like Meigh is going to be willing to do Gunt the favor of keeping his financials off of Front Street.
And as much as Ralph likes to boast about being a real nigga who trusts no bitch and is too smart to get got, he was the fucking moron who orchestrated this bound-to-fail scheme. He obviously figured he wouldn’t have to. He figured he could big-league Meigh into settling things with him out-of-court like he did with Faith. Lash out at her on one hand, scaring her about what he might do if she goes all the way, while on the other hand cry to her how if she takes him into Court and spills the tea he’ll end up ruined. Convince her to settle for a minimal support payment in exchange for limited visitation with an unspoken understanding that payments will be missed and visitation rights won’t be exercised more than once or twice. This is the deal Faith made with Gunt. I’m sure he figured he could get the same deal out of Meigh. He’s found out by now that Meigh isn’t going to be showing him any mercy.

Apparently the uncle wanted to buy the property from Ralph on the cheap so that it did not get auctioned off by the county. Uncle Ralph fixes up and rents out these shitholes, it's steady income. Ralph could've easily done this when he made all that money in 2021, fixed up and rented it out. I've said it before but I'll say it again, especially in that area it would have been easy money as he could rent it to the military and they would pay him whether there was a tenant or not and he wouldn't have to chase anyone for rent as they pay it directly to you from the US government. The only downside is you have to give them a tiny, but very fair discount. From personal experience it started at 8% less, which dropped to 5%. Charging 5, even 10% less for rent is worth it, especially when you're thousands of miles away in a different country. There is a fuck ton of bases in that immediate area which means small family homes are in high demand. The rent received would have covered his rent, utilities, and most expenses in Mexico, lmao.
