Dax made a horrible mistake though, Stern never hung out with Beetlejuice/Gary the retard/Jeff the drunk/high pitch Erik/Eric the midget/etc. as friends. In fact they probably never met outside the studio other than maybe at some show related event.
Even if you go with the O&A example where they had a bit more contact with their band of retards, it was always clearly that they were there to be humiliated and not as equals.

I don't know what his thought process is but Dax is literally hanging out with an amalgamation of Stern's wack pack (alcoholic, midget, narcissist, sex pest, retarded, etc.) as friends and equals.
The only reason I can see for it is that Dax overshared at some point before he knew what kind of vindictive prick Ralph really is and he's now terrified that Ralph will go out and confirm Juju the cow and other shit like that.

Very possible, look at the episode with Rekieta right after Ralph burned that bridge, that really homo Canadian comedian was there as well, what's his name? Ryan something?
Anyway, Dax spent the entire episode gunt guarding as hard as he could, even very mild jokes he would try to shut down and defend Ralph.

Than again, the most recent time Rekieta was at Dax's place they made fun of Ralph, Dax called him an alcoholic and they laughed about how disgustingly fat he is, so he may have flipped since then.
I don't have high hopes, especially with him now attacking Schaffer on twitter (why? Why do you seek Ralph's approval? Are you like Ralph and don't have any friends in your life? Is the Internet the only thing in your life?). It could be he's doing it to try to convince Ralph that he's still on his corner after the two recent betrayals but who knows with pedo Dax.
 
Why are people talking about Gym being on the Dick Show? Did I miss something, where was this mentioned as a possibility? Hypothetically, if Dax invited Jim, I'd prefer Jim politely declines the invitation for two reasons. One being that I do not want to see, watch or listen to Dax preferably ever in my life. Second, it would be somewhat humiliating for Dax to be denied the content. Any shit they threw at Jim for being a "pussy" and "scare" won't stick cos Jim would laugh it off, and probably make his own stream over the meltdown his decline caused.

It's the constant child fucking references. He literally cannot go a full broadcast without bringing it up. I stopped listening completely after the Cuties thing. Not because of the angle he took, but because he wouldn't lay off it. It was so bad they practically had a pedophile segment for 30 minutes every week where Dax "jokingly" (probably not jokingly) tried to spin sex with children as a good thing. It was Vaush-tier.

I don't know what the Hell happened, but once George got boring he lost his fucking mind.

I'm not well versed in Dax lore, but from what I know, I truly believe Dick will never outright cut off Ralph. This I believe stems completely from how he was treated by the LA improv community, which was essentially over random Internet rumors. Dax has even said that he'd be willing to talk with Maddox again, so I really don't believe he is as willing to burn bridges as the Gunt. Dick if not considering Ralph a friend will at least give him the benefit of the doubt on any drama. Worst case scenario for Ralph (aside from his own self destruction of the relationship) will be getting the Null treatment where Ralph will be "the person at the party who everyone wants to leave but won't".

Seriously though, Dick guntguarding means its going to be an ambush, but Jim will be able to mock it hard, Dick forgets how much his own fans hate Ralph. he's more disliked than Vito. Ralph will then lash out at dick for going along with the plan. its literally going to be like Wings' 1 on 1 with that other guy in COD.
 
Dick will absolutely not instigate a confrontation. Instead he's going to continue pissing in Ralph's face by being friendly with Ralph's unpersoned blood-enemies while feigning ignorance as to how much it tilts Ralph. Until one day the rage pig finally snaps and it will be open season on our hollerin hog for everyone associated with The Dick Show.

I still think the only reason Dick even bothers with Ethan is because something went down on one of their drunken drug nights. The clipped calls I've seen where they speak within the past year or two have been forced, they don't seem to be that close, but Ethan is constantly roping him into events. Ethan is the exact type of person that Dick would make fun of under almost any circumstance, yet he gets a complete pass on everything.

None of it adds up to me. They don't seem like natural friends, Dick seems to want to get out of obligations with him, but still hasn't just cut and run.

Ethan has literally no viewership. I don't believe half the superchats coming in are real. They tend to follow the exact same pattern as his speech, or he'll have said the exact line not minutes before, only for that thought to be sent for the minimum Super Chat amount, sending him into a holler spree. He's not bringing Dick viewership, because he doesn't have any viewers to bring to him.

There will be fallout one day, certainly, and I'd put money on it being a lot more juicy than most would guess, because I think there's more to the story here.

Not only is Ralph a liability, but Dick is the one that has suffered the most by being associated with him. I still contend to this day that Dick would not have a thread here had he simply never been involved with Ralph. The entire reason he came under attack for the NP2 stuff was because of PPP wanting to strike a blow to Ralph by going after the people he surrounded himself. I don't think Dick would have even defended Cuties had he not had a grudge against people like us for the months of drama that preceded it.

Dick also has to avoid conflicts developing in the community he has built up over the years because of Ralph's constant feud-picking. Because of Ralph there is now an uncomfortable situation that could exist between Dick and Digibro/Riley. Because of Ralph there is now an uncomfortable situation that could exist between Dick and Rekieta. Because of Ralph there is now an uncomfortable situation that could exist between Dick and Metokur.

Forming a friendship with Ralph might have been one of the dumbest decisions Dick has ever made.
