I had to stop listening to Dick's podcast sometime mid last year. The show just changed somehow and it just isn't fun for me anymore.

The funny thing is that Null called this shit. It IS weird that he's been sticking around Ralph when he's a constantly exploding hand grenade.
 
Chaggot was more of Ralph's friend during that event than Dick. Hell, most of the attendees who stayed longer than 15 minutes were more of Ralph's friend than Dick. We might be entering the timeline where Chaggot becomes Ralph's only IRL friend.
 
So people think it's either sunken cost or Masterson playing 5D chess? I just thought it was Covid making Ralph death spiral into going actually crazy and Masterson realizing that Ralph is actually fucking insane. A lot of people craft an online persona, but I think Masterson finally realized how Ralph isn't playing anything up anymore. Ralph got his curb stomped in Portugal to own an enemy when his kid was about to be born, you could write this out as simply bad behavior or Ralph snorted too much coke and didn't want to bitch out. Masterson has an ego sure, but he also has some sense at the very least. I don't think Portugal made him start realizing that Ralph is more than just a funny retard.

The entire bowling tournament was pure insanity from getting married, planning to drive his very pregnant wife to Texas, and then the shit at the Blaze to his behavior at the tournament. I believe Ralph put together that entire thing so he could win a trophy. It's funnier knowing he got emasculated all night, by Destiny of all people, and possibly committing a few felonies that might lead him to actually serving time. Other shit could be regarded as lapses in judgement or drugs causing him to act retarded, but all the bullshit that's happened between Portugal and now? Ralph is an overemotional pigman without wit or survival instinct.
 
I would be hesitant to say Ralph's ready to burn this bridge with Dick, but after Dick dabbed on him at the Bowling Alley, I think the equation of usefulness vs. liability has tipped close enough towards being even that Ralph would flip if Dick made fun of him.

Actually, that just lends credence to the theory that is a Ralph sock account. Ralph usually goes after family, particularly girlfriends and spouses.
 
Another thought is Dax might be pissed over how many times he was mentioned in the leaked DMs with Alice.

I think Dick has put himself at a crossroad here. I stopped following the show around a year or so ago so maybe things have changed, but back when I did listen to it the overwhelming consensus from his audience was anti-Ralph, nearly all of them would bitch any time Ralph was featured on the show. If he brings Metokur on just to guntguard, I assume that whatever remains of his audience will reee out hard.

FWIW if Dick starts a big gay feud with Ralph I'll probably give the show a listen again. Even just having Metokur on will be a fun ride as he'll get the chance to present Sean with a less manicured spin-free image of Ralph, which would be funny on it's own.
 
I don't think Ralph typically initiates burning the bridge. Behind the scenes he'll make it clear to his people that he wants to burn it but he'll usually wait until they say or do something and act like it came out of nowhere.

It'll be interesting what happens with Vito and Dick's other hanger-ons that seem amicable towards Ralph. Don't think Dick would lose any sleep should they defect but I don't think if having to pick between Dick and Ralph, anyone's gonna pick Ralph.

Jim and Ralph always had a bit of a rift regarding interests. Jim has the audience size and reach Ralph wanted but Dick has the personality/lifestyle Ralph wants. One of Ralph's biggest go-tos with Gator and Jim is that they're anime nerds but Dick obviously isn't that. I can't see Ralph being able to say something about Dick that couldn't be turned on him as well. "Dick's a degenerate that wont marry 80s girl" *literally the last 5 years of Ralph's life, as well as calling Faith Zoomer Girl to copy him*

Ralph had such bad daddy issues with Ronnie Ralph that he had two surrogate daddies.

Honestly Dax is probably going to be looking at his halted growth and try to get some more interesting guests on. Ralph will have some dumb internet beef with them and lose his shit over it. Wasn't Rieketa burned pretty quickly all because of a fart joke and a grimace? I pretty sure all the recent bridge burning have been spur of the moment decisions. Remember Gunt most likely has wet brain and combined with his paranoia any thing that he can misconstrue as a slight or joke at his expense will result in a melt down. I'm honestly surprised that Dax didn't get gunted after he flaked on Portugal.

If Dick wasn't as much as Ralph's "IRL friend" he would've been gunted. Dick's the only guy with clout to invite Ralph to IRL events even if Ralph ends up being laughed at. To Ralph that makes Dick his mensch.
 
These two get up to a lot of behind-the-scenes shenanigans. They might actually have a lot of dirt on each other. Their weird sex escapades, drug usage, etc. If ralph were normal he would want to prevent a bridge burning, since any (or all) of such content could fuck with his lawsuits. But he's a retard, so who knows. Meanwhile, everyone knows dick is a gross weirdo so it will just be more content for him.
 
I don't think Dick will be burn bridges with Ralph if he has Metokur on his show. Dick and Vito will defend him and I don't doubt that he will try to pull ambush tactic to try to bring Ralph to surprise Metokur that will backfire.
 
I don't think Ralph is man enough to tell Dick that he is a cocksucking motherfucking opportunist who tried to make Ralph his personal court jester while doing NOTHING FOR HIM and barely ever having him on the show! You know it's true, Ralph. You are a Maddox to him, he keeps you around to make fun of you and because you give him free shit and suck his dick. Having said that, I put Dax in the same "why are you still with this guy" category as May. I could understand back when NP2 was going on because he was hyping up the site and bringing him literal money, people forget Dick seeked Ethan out when they first met. the Killstream was the biggest platform Dax was on back in 2018, and it really did bring in the viewers, but by 2021 its more trouble than its worth.

Honestly burning Ethan would be the best thing for him at this point, his reputation since 2020 has been dogshit, Ethan is a dumb easy target who is guaranteed to lash out, like Maddox was in the beginning of the podcast. the problem is Dick is as thin skinned as Ethan, the second Ethan mocks his leathery girlfriend Dax will tomato out hard. they're literally the west coast and southern versions of each other. But it would provide the thing the dick show has been missing since the lolsuit ended, an actual arc and reason for being. Dick needs an enemy and Ethan would be the best fit. also they've been together long enough that he has stories he could tell about ethan on air the same way he did Maddox.

Beyond that he hasn't needed the Killstream, especially the modern version since NP2 ended, if he wanted to go on a show where people idolize him and has a huge reach especially on youtube, there is WATP. they're much better to play off of too. its not like Ethan who is terrible at being a host, co-host, riffer, and guest. Killstream was great with dick on in 2018 because he took callers and had a shitload of weirdos to bounce off of in real time, plus zidan made his role near fool proof, so Dick just introduced stories then could sit back and riff off of gator, zidan, and the callers.

But now its literally talking to a fat wetbrained fuck, Dick was hyped to hang in 2020, but now he makes up every excuse to get away. might as well burn the bridge and use the content, especially because you could then do the podcasts and do episodes with Nick R. and probably PPP, and basically get the same feeling he had when he was up aganist Maddox. Ethan has the same number of haters as Maddox had, tons of burned bridges and people that wouldnt mind hearing someone do middle school tier-jokes about a joke of a person.

of the 100 people still watching ralph who's going to quit paypigging dick over this? probably 0 in fact having another enemy will literally be the shot in the arm he needs. plus Dick's staff clearly hates Ethan too. you could tell by the maddox funeral that Ethan's place in the hierarchy has changed massively. Ethan was given free reign of Dick's studio before then, and once that show happened suddenly Dick starts treating him the way you do a booty call. not replying when they want to talk, dropping him when plans are made to meet up. even when they go out of the way to make things more accommodating he literally feigns injury.

I'll admit that i wouldn't have waited until Metokur to burn the bridge, but this is literally the right time. there is a 100% shot that if Dax streams the interview on youtube it will be sniped or bootlegged. if Dax was smart he'd release the show live for free, because the amount of paypiggies he'll get from the interview will be more than he's gotten in the last 3 years combined. Metokur guarantees a 10k audience, easily 100x as many that watch live. this is literally like finding out the lottery numbers the day before they're pulled.

TL;DR Dick could redeem himself more than anyone else if he burns the bridge, Metokur brings in so many paypiggies dick could double his patron bucks roasting the pig, this could be his maddox 2.0; he clearly doesn't value the friendship might as well burn it down.

I think it's gonna happen, but where as Jim joked about being Ralph's surrogate father, I think Ralph actually holds Dick in that regard.

It's gonna take a lot more than perceived slights for Ralph to rage pig on him. Jim got it cause he'd been cold shouldering him for years, Dick still pats Ralph on the head and tells him he believes in him.

What I think is more interesting is Dick's intention with all this. I generally have been in the camp of Duck genuinely liking Ralph cause he likes to be King Fish of a little exceptional ocean. I also spite those that think he's faking it and leading Ralph along, because I think they are desperately hoping the Dick of 5 years ago is still there and will be back(and I've accepted that he'll never be fun again). However, his behavior definitely looking more and more of slowly boiling the frog. Dick's greatest success has always been defaulting to first place in an Internet slap fight with a fool. I keep warming up to the idea that Dick's friendship with Ralph is just trying to set up a Maddox 2.0 to coast on content of for a while.
