Very. If Counter Strike: Source had it, Tarkov should.I figure something like a replay system would curtail this but I don't really have an idea of easy it would be to implement.

Sometime in August. Insert overused Thursday joke. When wipe?
Kind of a tangent, but I was talking to someone about how much better Tarkov would be if it wasn't running on janky Unity. I'd love if it was on Source 2, but hell I think it would be better even if it was running on Unreal.Very. If Counter Strike: Source had it, Tarkov should.
Maybe, but IIRC many Battlestate developers previously worked on Contract Wars, and since that used Unity I'm betting they chose it because of prior experience.Kind of a tangent, but I was talking to someone about how much better Tarkov would be if it wasn't running on janky Unity. That is a really good point that I did not consider. I still think that they keep widening the scope of the game with no end in sight though.Maybe, but IIRC many Battlestate developers previously worked on Contract Wars, and since that used Unity I'm betting they chose it because of prior experience.
I only started playing again last week after a 2 year hiatus, but wouldn't that be the shortest wipe in the history of the game if they stick to that wipe schedule? In other news patch 13.5 dropped, there's gonna be a December one in 4 months so this wipe season's probably short.
This was the most chill start of a wipe that I ever experienced. I never felt like I was horribly outmatched in fights and consistently made it out with items and quests I needed. I felt a little bit of rubberbanding on one raid, but it hasn't been that bad.Flea unlocked, I gotta say, this is probably the smoothest wipe i've played. Lots of rubber banding tho, which got me killed once

I'm around level 18 too. Currently trying to get these stupid Shoreline quests done. The map is a fucking funnel with horrible sightlines where you can get shot from practically anywhere. I was talking to someone about it last night and we agreed that they should rework the middle portion of the map, especially from the pier up to the power station. There is only one way to get to the pier and you are stuck there if in a fight, and to the north there just isn't enough cover on both sides of the river.Same.
lvl 18 currently, just grinding away at tasks I've not done in previous wipes.
I've got about 3 mil and I'm just using what I find for the most part. Not too concerned about progress this wipe.
Picked up a band of Timmies that I'm teaching. They're all absolute fucking garbage.
One of them walked in front of me mid spray and took a round to the back of the head. He was upset and didn't like that my "apology" consisted of telling him to pay attention and not walk into obvious lines of fire.
It's pretty fun because I'm openly pretty mean to them when we're playing. "Do this, loot that, stay here, shut the fuck up" and they all keep coming back to play with me.
Maybe they're all just lacking strong father figures in their life? Idk. Fun tho.
Also, I've already found 2 under-barrel grenade launchers and oodles of ammo for them. Haven't run them. Yet.
Currently level 11, still trying to find Salewas (fortunately my Medstation is unlocked so I just need to craft one more). So far this wipe is kinda decent, getting into raids as a PMC is quick and the performance seems to be getting better. Rubberbanding is still an issue and I barely hit 60 FPS with the lowest settings but other than that there aren't really any major gripes.I'm around level 18 too. I fucking hate shoreline with every fiber of my being. Fuck that map. Remove it from the game. Nuke it from orbit. FUCK SHORELINEI'm around level 18 too. Currently trying to get these stupid Shoreline quests done.
Nah, the main one is this Autist I know from high school. He's genuinely autistic as fuck and gets bent out of shape if I'm *too* mean to him. I have to let him know he's a gud boi and that I yell at him because I want him to do better. With your mention of being openly mean to them, I'm assuming you met them in-game or something? That experience sounds both painful and hilarious.
Its whatever. 1911 is still the best sidearm in the game IMOHave you tried the new sidearm shotgun from Jager? You can only buy one of them per restock, so if you are interested in using it make sure you buy one every time there's a refresh.
I'm sorry to hear about your mental retardation.Shoreline's one of my personal favorite maps
Shoreline's one of my personal favorite maps - granted I stay the fuck away from the resort unless its for a quest or I'm with a squad (or both) and hit the other areas. It's fairly easy to learn and there's good loot spots around the map. Unless I'm focusing on progress I just run Shoreline to get equipment and goods for my hideout or to sell.
Why is shoreline your favorite? If you spawn in the north portion of the map your extracts are the tunnel, path to lighthouse, or MAYBE (and it's a huge risk because it's a high PVP AND Sanitar can spawn there) the pier boat. Like I said before, the river that runs down the middle of the map funnels everyone to pass just north of the resort, at the power station, or at the gas station. All three of those you will certainly find some level of combat. FUCK SHORELINE. It needs a rework in regards to the pathways to GTFO.I fucking hate shoreline with every fiber of my being. LOL. The sperg I play with knows more than be about Tarkov even though I've technically been playing longer, and while our tactical chemistry is okay, our communication can be terrible sometimes. You talking about him made me think of us.Nah, the main one is this Autist I know from high school. He's genuinely autistic as fuck and gets bent out of shape if I'm *too* mean to him. My sperg has been telling me it sucks. I will have to try it myself then. Any particular build you like using? I have no idea how customizable the 1911 is.Its whatever. 1911 is still the best sidearm in the game IMO
I've been afraid to do anything like that due to the risk of getting my account banned. I have EoD, so I'd be upset if I got slapped with some sort of ban. Was also told that even brief few seconds of mic spam can get you an easy ban, so no idea. Also, I've been making a point to yell "NIGGER" when I get killed or I'm near a player, just in case they're a streamer. Gotta make sure those streamer faggots get banned and they all leave VOIP on.
I recommend everyone start yelling NIGGER into voip upon death/hearing footsteps/fighting other players
I ran into one pretty obvious cheater in exactly the same manner: Factory with an AR variant, head eyes'd while he ran and jump peaked. I got the notification that he got banned though!@Ogre Magi
Stock 1911 is fine, just run it, it fucks.
Don't worry about getting chat banned. They can't ban REAL cheaters, they're not coming after me for calling people niggers.
I have a dude who I met in game (before VOIP even) and he's my duo who I run shit with most of the time. We have great chemistry, basically on the same page in every raid.
I swear 50% of my deaths this wipe are to cheaters tho.
This one time on factory, I killed a timmy and then got RUSHED by a chad with 855a1.
Pretty sure that was a paid carry and his hacker friend.
From my experience, people usually rush the resort and never hit any other locations, so the rest of the map is relatively safe. I usually end up fighting scavs so it's an easy way for me to get equipment that I'll use (and not just leave in the stash). I usually hit the weather station, the power station, the bus depot, and maybe the island depending on where I spawn; it lets me snag loot either for crafting or to sell to the flea market, and gear from scavs that I kill. Why is shoreline your favorite? Lighthouse is decent, but I think the performance on it has gotten worse. Interchange is up there with Shoreline as one of my favorite maps, for pretty much the same reasons. Customs and Woods are decent. Reserve is okay as a scav, when I play it as a PMC I find the D2 extract to be way too annoying to deal with (along with the other gimmick extracts on Reserve), and I'm too much of a coward to play Labs.First time playing Streets this wipe, and man is that map both a maze and a good time. Highly recommend. My favorite still has to be Interchange. I will admit it does have some of the same pitfalls as Shoreline for public extracts, but it's much better than it used to be. Used to hate Woods before they expanded it, but that is also a great map. Customs is overrated, Reserve is okay but I'm not entirely comfortable on it, I still need to learn Lighthouse, and Labs is for gigachads when I am most certainly a rat.
I miss the days of running in with nothing on Labs. That shit was chaotic and funny as fuck.
Performance across the board is still rough for me. I hate that picture in picture is the tech they use for sights. Always sucks aiming down into optics. I have not encountered that bug yet though.I would play streets more but the performance on it is absolute ass. There's also that bug where you'll simply not connect and it gives you an MIA.
Labs has been a blast and the new SVT just makes it budget-friendly. Get a boonie hat a rig and cheap level four and sit in the plants outside the cafeteria (so you have a clear line of sight to the parking gate control room) and just wait. Some oblivious chads gonna walk in and get head cracked. High risk high reward but when your kit costs >400k including the labs card it's just piss easy.I'm too much of a coward to play Labs.
I'm trying this. Haven't built up the courage to play any Labs yet. I only need 3 more stims for Samples. I got lucky with some scav runs.Labs has been a blast and the new SVT just makes it budget-friendly. Haven't got any rare stims yet, still stuck on fucking Samples.
