No price listed. No new information about a releaae date ("Coming soon").

If you already own Tarkov and want to have it on your Steam account you have to buy it again.

The release date is supposed to be november 15th. There better be enough backlash for them to change having to buy it again, it literally makes no sense, they're still gonna have their launcher if you buy the game through steam, logging into that should absolutely be enough.

Nikita will not give steam keys because he knows that niggercattle will buy Steam key separately - after all, a lot of them bought Unheard edition and actively purchase microtransactions implemented few years ago now. BSG was treating paying and potential customers like shit from the get go, considering the price for the game always been displayed without VAT which is the only game doing that AFAIK. And the fact they rugpulled many people saying 'yes you get future DLCs but ackshually we got our own definition of DLCs' and only thing they walked back on was the uproar on PVE exclusiveness to the highest cuck tier.

Don't see the point of doing this since nobody complains about inertia movement anymore after years of having to play with it, not to mention that people use Arena to warm up/practice for actual Tarkov and this will probably just mess that up for them.
Maybe they're trying to pull back the PvP players that they made quit after making the game unbearable for them, but it's too little too late and most of those people despise the concept of Arena anyway.
People are suspecting that they're testing this out in Arena first and plan to bring it to the main game for a little while since Niggita has been babbling about a softcore wipe before release.

Also, BSG are a bunch of fucking retards but the people complaining about needing to rebuy the game on Steam are insufferable and a good example of how people will just blow anything out of proportion simply to shit on the developers for no good reason.
Literally the ONLY thing that the Steam version will do is open the BSG launcher for you. Nothing else.
If it's somehow that big of a fucking deal to anyone, they can simply go to their Steam library and add the BSG launcher as an unofficial game to it and get the exact same fucking function that having the Steam version will give them. If you're gonna complain at least bring attention to the shit that actually matters for the game (throat hitbox, optimization, queue times, etc) instead of some insipid bullshit.

They don't even listen to the streamers anymore. Even the big ones. Tune into any stream and it'll be constant complaining about the game but not a single thing they want ever actually happens.
In fact, they have a Discord server exclusively for streamers and whatever other faggot ass content creators to circlejerk and report bugs in, but they get ignored there as well. DesmondPilak for one literally got banned from the server after repeatedly trying to bring a few very old but important bugs to their attention and being refused to get properly addressed. He did call them retards but not before they earned it.
For fuck's sake, they didn't even KNOW that the silent crouchwalking bug was still in the game while literally fucking everyone was crying about it for god knows how long.

The last chance that we had for BSG actually listening to anybody was Pestily's interview with Niggita.
And guess what, he fucked it up by being a shit for brains nigger and consulting R*ddit for questions to ask instead of actually using his own brain. So it ended up being filled with shit like "WHERE HIDEOUT CAT REDDIT WANT HIDEOUT CAT" and barely anything that matters. Blame R*ddit and Pestily if you wanna shit on anyone.
 
Is it just me or are Scav runs are broken on PvE? This fat bastard won't fix the game but he'll keep adding more shit that breaks it, then makes excuses for not fixing his shit.

This is what I was thinking as well. I believe Nikita has said that they most likely won't initiate a wipe, but that they will implement softcore rules.
I've been playing arena to get my Tarkov fix in place of the dogshit hardcore wipe and I instantly uninstalled it after I read the patch notes. This isn't going to entice PVP players as much as it will entice shitters who can't cope with game mechanics that intentionally limit their mobility. Removing inertia only appeals to zoomers and trannies. Tarkov just isn't a game where that kind of movement is actually good for the overall health of the gameplay. I will say though, removing the lock you get if you press M1 a millisecond before your reload finishes is a good change.

This also didn't work for quite a long time. You could add the launcher but the game wouldn't launch. I believe it was only recently that it started working.

True, but it's not like inertia as it is really even prevents people from going crazy with movement. Once you get the hang of how your character controls you can still do a bunch of cool stuff. Hell, jumpshotting people is still a viable thing. Overall I think it's an okay balance between what ADHD zoomers want and what milsim dads want, though I wish they added back some things like being able to move while blindfiring and prone leaning being useful.
The A-D-A-D strafe spam bullshit takes it too far and does not need to come back, though. With the amount of desync the last thing we need is more retarded spazzy character models making it even harder for your shots to register. Watched a couple clips of Arena after the patch and it looked fucked.

Yes, the current movement is actually acceptable. It's limiting but if you understand it's mechanics you can move quite quickly. Which is how it should be.

It's completely fucked and I wouldn't be surprised if arena is unplayable in a week because there's 7 people still playing. The netcode is a good point, too. Peekers advantage is already fucking vile and even more so when you can swing the corner like a speed demon with no effort.

Even the people that only log in to do their dailies and transfer roubles to EFT might just quit now that the sweaty SR-3MP brainlet on his 100 winstreak has the ability to strafe in place and shoot before his reload animation is even fucking over, on top of abusing everything else that the game lets him.
Arena was finally in an okay place, too. Doubt they'll revert this. Oh well, fuck these devs.
 
Personally I think Arena was garbage before these changes. However, now that it won't really play like Tarkov I don't see myself bothering with it since it'll just make me worse at the actual game. BSG is just braindead thinking these changes will bring in Arena players. The game modes and maps just aren't very good, it has nothing to do with the movement or shooting.
