If the groklist is going to include single digit billionaires, then off the top of my head, JK Rowling is currently above a billion again so should be on that list as a self-made one (who turned herself into a millionaire at one point due to how much of her own wealth she spent on charities). The revamped amusement park and other new Harry Potter properties/media have turned her into a billionaire again while currently supporting troon-free women's shelters among all her other usual exploits.
