Well, Trump and Kanye have threads.

And with he having a meltdown in Twitter every week, he's seems to be the a perfect candidate to have a Kiwifarm thread.

But he needs a better OP.

As others have said, a thread on Elon should be easy because dude is walking low-hanging fruit. Assuming you're still maintaining this thread, a few pointers:

- Source the news articles you pull from and archive the content. Screenshots of black text on white background are easy to fake and the credibility of the sites can't be determined if nobody has any idea what they are.
- Get into the juicy stuff quicker. I've heard a lot about his apartheid fortune personally, but some people might not have. How does his slave labor profiting father play into all of this?
- More about the "juicy stuff"; you should try to tell a coherent story using the info you've gathered. Right now the thread feels like a lot of random information slapped together separated by arbitrary categories and it doesn't seem like it's chronological.

Also don't forget to include his jet information as well because apparently that REALLY pisses him off.
 
At this point, I can't decide if I'm more annoyed by Elon and his cronies who spent the past month LARPing as principled free speech warriors, or by the lefties who spent years saying "it's a private corporation it can do what it wants" (despite also believing corporations are intrinsically evil) but are now acting like banning journalists from twitter is a human's rights abuse.

The loudest whiners are a mirror image of the Freeze Peach Brigade of old but I think more people are pissed off by the outright hypocrisy than anything else. The other facet is twitter policy being dictated by whatever Elongated Muskrat took personally the day before. Twitter's become more mercurial than it's ever been, even more than when the old guard vacillated over blocking links to the Hunter laptop stories, and it's spawning drama.


In other news, it seems that Twitter has a unified user account system and a balkanised permissions one as the journos who were suspended still had access to Twitter Spaces. They decided to have a little conference to blow off steam and a man who's nominally in charge of at least 4 companies somehow found time to insert himself into the conversation:

Predictably, one of the suspended journos decided to put Elon's ass on blast, leading Elon to become so assblasted that he left the Space and apparently had it deleted and the entire Spaces platform disabled:

Elon confirmed that Spaces was down by announcing it was back but with no elaboration as to why it went away in the first place. Presumably the permissions were tightened up while it was offline:

This doesn't seem like a coherent story, it reads like a collection of different factoids from random events with no correlation.
Needs more of a narrative to follow from beginning to end. Also needs to sound less spiteful in my opinion.
 
This threat has a lot of potential considering how insane Musk is and how he makes libs seethe by owning twitter
 
People trying to defend Elon's absolute weirdness and lolcow behavior because they are projecting their own politics onto his fat ass is proof this thread needs to be.
