It really makes you wonder. Did someone groom her into taking T, is it a sign of her deteriorating mind and worsening mental health issues, is it an attempt to become relevant because Umbrella Academy wasn't performing well enough for her/her wranglers? Did she get what she wanted from T or did she see the consequences of putting cross-sex hormones into an otherwise healthy body, like that poor balding pooner who vent viral (the name escapes me, she detransed later and became an advocate against trooning out).

I think you're on the money. The lack of hair growth we've seen whenever she's flashed her disgusting fake abs and pecs, she doesn't even have abdominal hair, could be a sign that she's stopped taking T entirely.
 
I'm not entirely sure if she's stopped taking Testerone tbh. The thing with TiFs is that the effects of T have a really diverse range. I've seen TiFs online saying they've been taking T for many years and have zero tells and a majority with only a few. It's actually very uncommon to get a decent beard and convincing voice.

I think she's still taking it purely because she would get paranoid about people finding out that she stopped. Note that she would likely need E at this point if she didn't want to feel sick and tired all the time if she did stop.

5 years of testosterone poisoning and Ellen still just looks like a middle aged butch lesbian at her most masculine. Either she quietly stopped taking testosterone for health reasons or she’s hit the ceiling with it. The only thing it’ll do for her now is cause heart disease or male pattern baldness.

I looked up the most recent interview I could find and even her voice isn’t all that froggy. Or at least the frogginess is dampened because she still speaks in that same shy, breathy, quiet way for some reason. She not only looks but also sounds like a middle aged butch lesbian. One who smokes, at best.

In most surgeries, even cosmetic, the goal is to preserve normal aesthetics and function of the skin and hair follicles. Small PL but I had a pretty big surgical laceration done on my scalp, and the doc took over an hour shaving hairs with the looped razor to make as little change to follicular growth as possible (ie to cut where it wouldn’t bury follicles or go too against the grain when stitched).

But with tranny surgery I kinda feel like it’s possible they just shoved some wiffleballs cut in half under the skin and called it a day, so who knows? Maybe she was warned about the possibility and had preemptive laser treatments done to the area ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I doubt it's that deep. Considering rot dogs grow hair because of the skin they use, even after laser treatment. Ellen is just a hairless babe and always was.
She just stopped taking testosterone, is my theory.

I was about to complain that nobody but me has listened to the song her ex-wife wrote about her, but I went back and it turns out her bandcamp page has been removed, and I didn't archive it. My bad. Basically from what I posted previously and what I can remember, the song heavily implied that Ellen tried to pressure Emma into transitioning with her and it led to the breakdown of the marriage because Emma didn't want to. Emma called Ellen a closeted woman, either implying that she was out but genuinely not accepting of herself as a lesbian, or maybe as said in the thread before, not accepting of herself as bisexual, and generally using transition to avoid self-examination on other topics. Uncomfortable with her own sexuality basically. I think this would make sense with her wanting her character to be a total pussy slayer in umbrella academy too.
 
Speaking of Emma Portner (I can't seem to find any of her music), I found a choreographed uh.. art piece? starring herself and Ellen. I don't remember it posted in the thread.

Ellen's hairline was always tragic and I can't believe it took me this long to realise.
