Even before I met her So this whole narrative was given to you to distract you and to cripple me financially and destroy my life. So it took me time to put this all together, which we have very you know very very carefully documented for legal reasons everybody who’s involved how they attempted to destroy my company how they exploited my marriage.
But while I had to do this, they decided to distract all of you with just another little morsel of gossip in order to destroy my public reputation so that in the end you would think what? I believe Milo is shame-proof or near enough, and also has other unconventional wiring that make him a difficult target. Schaffer is kinda trying to embrace bad outsider status but clearly still has normal-ish ego investment in his reputation as a virtuous man. He’s also blasted on drugs and that’s clearly degrading his cognition. Long story short he needs to disengage from Milo and hope he gets bored and picks a new target. I think this analysis is cogent and on the money.
The thing about Milo is that it is not possible to shame him more than he shames himself. He is deeply disturbed by his old ways, he has little future to look forward to because he's going blind, and the only person he shows any indication of caring about the opinion of is Jesus himself. Maybe the Pope and/or his priest. But I bet if his old colleagues Vox Day or even Owen Benjamin raised any red flags, he'd consider them.
Schaffer doesn't even get that the situation with his ex-wife looks horrible and that he should lay low for a bit to "get his house in order" if he hopes to have any relevance whatsoever, but he's so blasted on stimulants that the notion of "laying low" doesn't exist in his vocabulary. It's not even subtle any more. The Bible talks about God giving people over to a reprobate mind, and Schaffer is what that looks like.
