The fun thing is that I'm sure there lots of devs out there who would've loved to tackle Battletoads. Yacht Club Games absolutely nailed it and that was for a silly one-off Shovel Knight bonus level for Xbox/PC users.

The troon community will probably claim that character as trans, and the art director for this new BT game will probably give it to them if he/she allowed that design to happen in the first place.

RE: Avengers, I'll wait for gameplay to emerge before making a call on it, but the bad cutscenes and character design already puts me off. It's an even steeper uphill climb since they released that trailer while Endgame is still screening in some theaters and fresh in people's minds, as well as the most recent Marvel game along Avenger's lines being Spider-man, which was a fine game, both in gameplay and story (and even voice acting).

Looks like another year without an Ogre Battle/FFT game for me. Looking forward in that Dragon Quest XI and Builders 2 on the switch.

There was a leak that was 100% accurate on 4chan that said there was an isometric contra that "looked not very great." that quote was also quoted by the leaker so it was the impressions of someone else. We're also getting a new warioware and another side scrolled metroid.
 
Between the people actually upset at the FF7 remake's Tifa having "breasts that are too big" and the people projecting their own neuroses on the positive reactions to Ikumi Nakamura's presentation "Ugh, this infantilzation of Asian women must end!" I can only conclude:

That's more of an issue with the 3d they were able to work with at the time (especially with the in-game model rather than the cutscene) - IIRC they wanted to have them smaller but weren't able to do so without having it too small or something, at least that's what I've read a few years back.

You actually believed the line about "we wanted the boobs smaller but we couldn't do it" from a Japanese developer being interviewed? He's Japanese, he's not going to come out and tell everyone he wanted Tifa to have giant mammaries just because he likes them. I can't tell you how many times I came across these interviews in the 90's where the Japanese anime directors and developers were being interviewed by Americans for the first time and told them realism or system limitations caused chicks to have giant bouncy boobs. They are basically saying "why the fuck are you asking me about giant boobs? What the fuck do you think?"

Her KH2 model isn't that big, it is much closer to what we see in FF7RE. Her outfit was actually tighter in KH2 than what I can see in FF7RE, which might be why she looks smaller to so many people unless no one remembered her in KH2 somehow.
