Very much enjoying it so far. I did not appreciate that Psyche is underage, so I'll not be using her in my party
 
I gave it a go.

The good
- My inner Bioware fan is showing. I get a kick out of getting different impressions via my answers. I don't know if it will matter in the long run but unlike Hoyo and WuWa, it at the very least provides the illusion of my choices mattering.
- The gameplay is fun, and lots of areas to explore!
- I love the music.
- I like the world design even though the first city screams HSR Belobog at me with ten sirens.
- MC talks a lot! He still doesn't have wells of charisma, but he's present.

The meh
- The story. Evidently, this was a remnant from when the game was gacha, so it's WuWa 1.x tier. I don't really give a shit about it either way. I am not invested in the characters or the plot.
- The cosmetic gacha. Yeah, it's a gacha after all. And you cannot grind for the special pulls on the limited banner. As it is cosmetics, I don't really give a fuck.
- You can't swim. That took some getting used to.

The bad
- It's a buggy mess. I suppose that's just the standard for launch titles these days, and I'm just an old fart who expects games to not be filled with bugs at launch.
- The bugs not only extend to glitches and freezing, but also your controls. The shortcut menu just doesn't work, and on occasion, even basic buttons will give out unless you reboot the game. It's pretty bad.
- Snow. Fuck her.
- The challenges. It's the jank of the movement and the shooting ones.
- There's something about the cutscenes that feels really, REALLY off-putting, but it's mainly the NPCs who look really fucking weird when they talk. Sometimes they look weird, period.
- I both love and hate the movement. It's super floaty and jank. It takes some getting used to, and it's bit ass to get to higher places. There's no fall damage, though.

So we already know that the little girl with the large hat and the pig looks like WuWa Phoebe's little sister.

I was literally just sitting my ass down and then I floated to the heavens.

Okay so the corporation doesn't owe me shit so I won't be like "Oh they are doing their best" as the twats over at Reddit. I think they needed to let this one marinate a little longer.

However, they did state they are working on a patch of hotfixes, so let's see. Hopefully, it makes the game a little smoother.

I hate this. I kept going into the water and felt weird when the black screen came, like how can you be an exploration game without letting us swim?

I got softblocked out of a quest. Warping to Purgatorio and then back fixed it.

Glad I'm not the only one noticing. It feel super off, especially when you try to do a plunge attack. Instead of your character directly plunging down, the plunge foward. Jumping is very floaty and aiming with a controller sucks.

Ignoring the meme for a second, you can look up the VAs in the character menu. Unfortunately, DNA is one of those games where the JP VAS are not written Romaji (romanization of Japanese), so I can only judge voicework based on recognition.

Still deciding if I like the game or not. I do know I hate Snow's entire race and wish genocide upon them.

As for the combat, I think it'd be fun if I found a character I liked, but find myself constantly either forgetting about ranged completely or randomly spraying the town with bullets trying to sprint.
 
It took me a loooooot of grinding but I finally unlocked my first character.,...fucking Randy. Now I just need to grind for a looot of weapons. The game needs to pick up quality wise before I will consider spending. The monetization is a bit iffy as there is literally no way to get limited banner pulls so you gotta whale or go f2p.

As for the game itself....it's really unstable. There's a constant clicking in the map menu, the game looks really cheap. Scenes that aren't FMVs have characters move and just stop awkwardly. The characters don't always resemble their splash art. Outsider is a lot pastier than his art.

I think a good stopping point for the daily grind for me is when the main menu and the map function stop working so I have to alt+F4 the thing.

Also I just gonna say that the yellow in Snows palms is fucking ugly.

Glad to know I'm not the only one to have issues. Game keeps randomly giving my GPU shit fits and reverts settings on a whim. So far have Rebecca and the Phoebe analog with the pig. Rebecca is apparently really broken once you level her and her jellyfish up, I'm enjoying it more when I can actually play, so may just wait a week or two for stability updates before going back.
 
Rebecca and her Jellyfish of doom are super neat. I tend to cycle between characters, and I really don't vibe with Outsider, even if I like the guy. He's a good sub bitch though.

Still gonna give Randy a go, but I need more weapons. I got a shotgun, and it has no right to be as fun to blow fuckers as it is. But for now, it's mostly Rebecca and her jelly nukes.

Phoebe Lite and her F1 McLaren Pig are great for travelling in the combat stages, where you have to go for long distances. I just wish the camera wouldn't go bananas because it's giving me motion sickness.

I guess it's a Warframe thing. I've never played Warframe.

Please just fix the D-pad controls so I don't feel handicapped playing your damn game.
