May Allah forgive me but this goes hard as fuck. Keeping it wrapped in a towel to keep it frozen cold.

I have not stopped drinking in 2 weeks, I do not recommend it. You guys are still the best. There's hope for us all.

I'm high as shit.

I've been commuting down to DC a couple times a week for work. I'm riding trains for like two hours, twice a day.

So I have a few hours, have to go to bed, to wake up before sunrise to ride the train some more the next day.

Anyway, I'm smoking weed and chilling before bedtime (should've been in bed 30 minutes ago).

I'm also watching the Wire again. I just watched the Sopranos for the first time and now I'm rewatching an old favorite, the Wire.

Also I had a hankering for a burger.

So I busted out my air fryer. I have some store brand bubba burgers.

Air fried the burger, put some tomato paste (no ketchup, though the tomato paste alone gave it a nice zing) and some kewpie mayo on a toasted store brand bun. Oh and a slice of American cheese.

Really modest but nice late night snack.

I kinda want another one but I don't have time. I need to be in bed.

I'm buzzed as fuck. Got 2 shots and a bloody at the place I'm staying at. $13 for a shot of Jameson. Holy fuck lmao, is that normal? At home it's like $3-$5.

Anyways, got some headphones in and I'm listening to my nigga Trevor Moore (RIP).

So I'm gonna have to get up at 5:50 tomorrow so I'm gonna get blazed early so I can get to sleep on time.

I have some frozen chicken thighs in my freezer, so I cooked them up sous vide and then finished them on the stove.

Probably doesn't look super impressive but they were delicious. Very moist. A little firm for my tastes (I'll lighten up a bit next time), but they're otherwise juicy and flavorful. Just salt and pepper, and some dipping sauce I got online.

I'm sorta lazily dieting, so this is a great munchies driven meal. Very satisfying, but without wolfing down a bag of potato chips.

Also I'm rewatching the Wire. I forgot how much I loved the stevedore's union plotline.

That's crazy.

Reminds me of the last time I went to California, it was for work a few years ago. Dinky little bars in the most boring little suburbs (nothing wrong with that!) of the bay area, a beer and a burger cost like $50. It's like half that here.

450mg Seroquel, 25mg Percocet, two tall boys at once. Cheers fuckers.
Nigga if you on 450mgs of Quetiapine you need to be in the psych ward.

Hit me up. I used to be a terrible drinker, 1/2 gallon a day type who didn't stop until everything was gone. I figured out a protocol that legit cured me when treatment centers, AA, sober living, girlfriends and family couldn't. Haven't thought about drinking in over 5 years which is fucked to think about because I used to wait outside the liquor store to open. My cure takes a week of your time but you need the right tools. Good luck though, shit gets rough.

Jesus Christ lmao. Totally agree paces like that can have decent food, love a good greasy dive bar burger. I can't imagine paying $50 for a fucking beer, burger and fries for 1 person unless that cow was slaughtered fresh on site.

Looks good to me lol. Simple is satisfying, and requires less dirty dishes. I got baked and tried a recipe similar to this recently. The cream might be a bit much if you're dieting, but I was surprised at how well it turned out:
