That sounds more like the old meaning of "Diverse" to me, as in, a varied cast of archetypes with different personalities and goals, as opposed to "Inclusive"
I blame current year for causing confusion when the term is used. Unfortunately the word “diversity” is used so much that hearing it causes automatic eye rolling. Then when the term is used in a non-woke way, it sounds woke.

DD2 is looking like an instant buy

Pure Gameplay video

Looks like they've expanded the raw combat feel and added some DnD/Monster Hunter esque tactics. At 2:30 they show the character using an explosive barrel to break a dam and stun/damage an ogre.

I'm pretty sure that was in one of the first trailers, but yeah, the developers said they wanted to create more interactive systems (cutting a bridge was another one) that would bleed into more dynamic combat. I'm guessing they are going after the same feeling BOTW had of using the whole environment in a fight. The mobs did look a bit too heath spongey but that could just be the party was very low level.

I really learn more about some of the specialties (besides class) that the pawns can learn.

I really hope they keep the same balance they had for DD1, enemies are tough when youre at a low level, become a breeze when over leveled, but there's still sections or areas like Bitterblack meant for postgame where you can never really one shot everything in your way

Guys the initial trailer of DD2 had lots of niggers in your face. Did Capcom finally get pozzed? Can I still buy this or has the last bastion of Japan fallen?

Im currently suffering from the Fatigue as well, but DD1 had its share of niggers too. Not to mention there's a desert themed kingdom in this one as well, makes sense they'd have some more of them this time around.

And again, much like in the first game, most of the pawns you'll find will be aryan waifus anyway.

nah there will be plenty of Caska clones running around. which is fine by me.

Yeah as someone balls-deep in Dogma 1 right now there are plenty of niggers all over the place and they didn't even have the excuse of having a desert nearby in that one. Not bothered by it.

What I am bothered by is the mouthbreathers at IGN making the game look like shit by utterly failing to grasp the gameplay. I know it *will* be good because it looks just like when somebody sucks at the first one, but I've already seen a few normies say the combat looks bad just because of this showcase alone.

EDIT: And yeah, the top waifu in the first game is a French negress, so if they can manage to make that desirable they can do anything.

Some gameplay from a recent Capcom livestream. This shit is looking great, the guy playing sucks though

I’m glad that capcom is going with the “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” mentality. They’re pretty good at updating their franchises without losing the identity of those franchises. (Maybe Santa Monica should learn from that)

Yes. this is why I'm excited.

The gameplay for Dragon's Dogma looked lackluster at first and you realized once you played it that everyone who posted videos for PR sucked at playing.

It's a really enjoyable game that meets somewhere between Dark Souls and Monster Hunter...two series I absolutely love with a dash of comfy quest log to play.

So what's your guys' take on the vocation situation? It's basically all but confirmed that there's a non-magic spear class, which I can't really picture as anything but another Base Vocation.

I think we're looking at 7 Base, 7 Advanced, and probably 7 Hybrids to make a nice symmetrical graphic. 21 vocations is a huge jump from 9, but considering this game is dwarfing the first in size in every other way, I don't think that's really out of the realm of reality.

People arguing that we're only getting what's been shown because of a T-shirt can go back to Bitterblack Isle with the rest of the brainless Magick Archers cheesing everything with Richochet Hunter.

I would love it if we got 21 classes, but realistically I feel like there's probably one or two classes they haven't shown yet (i feel like a normal spear class is pretty likely since we've seen NPC's with normal spears as weapons). I wish they would have gotten rid of the Hybrid classes being player-only though. That always seemed like a limitation in DD1 and something that should have been removed with more development time.

I definitely think 21 is optimistic, but only one or two more means that there won't even be an advanced thief or archer, and that just seems insane. I wish they would have just done away with the vocation color system if that ends up being the case, rather than create expectations based on the structure on the first game's classes.

I suppose all we really can do is wait, though. This month will probably be flush with news on account of the IGN deal so I'm sure there will be a vocation reveal.
WHERE ALCHEMIST
Base Purple Voc? That'd be my guess. I've seen people say Beastmaster, but I think with the Pawn System it'd be a bit pointless outside of the spectacle of having a wolf or saurian or whatever helping you.

Plus if you could have Beastmaster Pawns there'd be like 8 allies swarming over each other and that would be ridiculous lol.

Alchemist would be a nice base vocation because then you could potentially mix it and Thief for a smokebomb and poison-cloud using Ninja, or some sort of Gadgeteer class with Archer.

God, there's so many cool potential combos. My favorite idea I've seen is Green/Yellow with one of those chain-sickles. I'd kill for that.

Unfortunate that we live in a world where the devs are human and can't just put out a game with like 48 classes in it.
