DB is way too big of a cash cow for TOEI to just stop, it would be especially wasteful now that the series got a brand new art direction with the latest movie. I would be shocked if we didn't get a continuation of Super in Spring 2020 the latest, though I also hope TOEI has learned from Super's start and will provide a proper schedule for its team to work on it instead of giving it a fracture of the time a studio usually gets to work on an episode. Really love the new aesthetic Shintani has whipped up for the Broly movie (especially compared to how far his predecessor Yamamuro's fallen from grace), and while I recall him saying won't work on the franchise after it, I hope whoever will end up directing the eventual new series will be able to adapt his new, more flexible approach successfully.

I mean, by that logic, Puar and Oolong are more worthless than Chiaotzu is. At least Chiaotzu *tried* to help fight the Saiyans.

True but I did precise Z Fighter because yeah their are other characters more useless than Chiaotzu, speaking of Z fighter that accomplished more than Chiaotzu here's one
But really Chiaotzu is yet another character Toriyama negleted utterly

It was pretty clear Chiaotzu was never going to amount to anything given he's only had one fight in the entire series and, even in Dragon Ball, was booted off-screen or incapacitated in the earliest stages of the arcs he was in.
Puar and Oolong were never meant to be relevant once the martial arts aspects kicked in, and they were relegated to spectators and friendly characters as soon as Tenshinhan stepped into the ring. Losing them was never going to be as grand a loss because they're gag characters meant to be anchors of a more light-hearted time in the series. Yajirobi, meanwhile, wasn't meant to be a major cast member and yet still largely gets included in small rolls outside of his debut arc. He gets more lines than even characters like Yamcha and Chiaotzu depending on the time of day and because he took up an immediate passive roll from day one, it's not surprising that he didn't become a headline character. (Though still a popular one, surprisingly enough.)
The big neglectfulness comes fully in the form of characters like Yamcha, Tenshinhan, young Trunks and Goten, and to a certain extent, King Kai. All of them are prevalent in the story enough to warrant them getting more screen-time and stuff to do but are just not given anything to do because the writers haven't given them purpose. (Though Super seems to be trying.)

Second-best (maybe actual best) sex would have to be Krillin and 18, hands down. I swear to you she's always giving him the bedroom eyes in Super, they have to be kinky as fuck, and she only tolerated this stupid haircut because she loves him.
Lmao Dragon Ball fanfiction must've been quite something back in the day, that infamous Anne Frank/Goku story notwithstanding.

This is a thing in all fandoms, pretty much. Harems have been gaining in popularity for years.
Think it'd be really cool to see more badass females in the Dragon Ball universe, though. Honestly am having a hard time coming up with a female character who doesn't kick some kind of ass outside of the non-canon Maron.

if you think about it, she got it really bad.
At this point she should be in her 50s, suffers from multiple personality disorder and the guy she used to like, never wanted anything to do with her.
Kind of weird how they decided to ''resurrect'' Mai and turn her into trunk's waifu but, launch got shafted hard.

They've brought back fucking broly and gogeta at this point and even gave yajirobe a bit part. Getting launch in to the show as someone's got grandma couldn't be that bad an idea with everything else.

Launch was awesome, she's managed to crack me up to the end. That scene where Piccolo jr.'s about to nuke everything and Launch just kicks Kami by his ass into that crater Tien had made was priceless.
On a side note, I hope we'll end up getting some OG DB characters as DLC for Dragon Ball FighterZ, like kid Goku, Master Roshi, Tao Bai Bai, Demon King Piccolo or even Launch. I think Launch would make for a great fighting game character if Arc System would take a page from how Eyedol works in Killer Instinct and give her distinct moves for both her forms, but make it so that there are certain moves\scenarios that have a chance of triggering Launch sneezing instead of enabling the player to just switch on command.
Speaking of FighterZ and waifus, if there anyone here who has purchased Videl? She looks like she's a lot of fun to do some husbando-assisted nerd trashing with:

In the "Super" manga, i liked how he gave Goku 500 billion zeni.
Its a nice little detail that shows that the future in-laws get along well enough. First chapter btw.
