It sucks because Buu has the opposite problem Yamcha has, he's too overpowered. Sure he might get decimated in a straight fight if only ki is measured and allegedly Evil Buu took the absorption power with him when he ceased to exist, but the penultimate regeneration, endless stamina, candy beam, and perfected multiform would make him a pain for anyone. The sidelined him four times just because the writers didn't want to spend time thinking of ways to counter all of his moves for a new character's benefit.
What makes you say that? I don't see why that only one of them would have that ability.

I see the problem now, the fandom page made up bullshit and tied it to one source:

That's some really odd extrapolations for the fandom wiki to make up considering that the interview's from 2014, and then Super happens, in which Buu drops out of the Tournament of Power at the last minute because he decided to take a 2-month nap, which Satan more or less says happens often (thus, Buu still technically goes into long hibernation cycles).

Didn't know there was a Dragonball thread but I watched Super Hero recently, I didn't like it as much as the Broly movie (as far as the new Super canon goes). Might just be that I sort of lost interest in Gohan and Piccolo over time compared to Goku and Vegeta and Broly.

Decided to read up on the manga since I hadn't done so for Super but I think that'll be fun once it hits the anime.

It's pretty sappy but I did like that Goku got to learn a bit about Bardock, I like Bardock and always thought it was kind of sad that Goku hadn't really heard anything about him.

The dragon ball wiki started out as a place for people to post their donuts, so quality control has been a loose suggestion at the best of times. It's why the series has the most wikis for one series and why the autists at kanzenshou scammed people on the promise of making the token perfect encyclopedia pulling information from secret sources only they know about.

Remember when bamco said Orange Piccolo would be added to X2 in Autumn of 2022? Pepperidge farms remembers.

I have not paid attention to the Super manga, but at least Goten & Trunks are now at the ages they were at the end of DBZ (finally). I wish they would just bite the bullet and move the timeline after the End of Z, then move on from there.

After Z is GT territory. It would probably be hugely controversial to officially overrwrite GT.
Though it's already been unofficially overwritten about as hard as possible.
I mean, Trunks is now hitting on reformed teenage Mai about one year before she'd be a geriatric villain again at the start of GT. It's not impossible to make GT fit with that, because anything goes in a story with magic and time travel and alternate universes and whatnot, but it seems unlikely.
And you know, maybe in that remaining year Vegeta gave up that whole destruction training thing to work on his 'stache, everyone forgot their new transformations, they killed Freeza again and he stays dead in Hell, etc etc...

Toyotaro's newest illustration features Gohan and Icarus all grown up (well, at least before he's Goku's dinner)!

Bulma getting a fatter butt invalidates the ending of Z, forget about GT altogether. More importantly:

We're in new territory here friendos, bamco has no more excuses for holding the rest of the cast hostage.
YES! I was going to post that with other movie info I gathered sharing its well-deserved success!! Even better, the new manga chapters (which is very refreshing to see Goten and Trunks indirectly following in his big bro's footsteps) are tied into Super Hero as a prequel of sorts.

And Super itself is supposed to lead to End of Z, so we'll see how far those retcons go.

I know its a coincidence, but its interesting how Toyo's take on Icarus gives him the same big proportions as that fan-made fighting game. One more cameo down after Xeno2 started him off.
So far the prequel chapters have been alright, mostly due to Goten and Trunks doing something on their own for a change. I hope we get to see Hedo's thoughts on Cell's blueprints in the future, or some kind of reflection on his gramps' work.

I'm willing to bet Toriyama wrote the ending on the verge of absolute burn out, so I don't think he'd mind changing things up in the future--that is Goku still abducts a 7yo boy, but the finer details are different. The cast just plain seems happier in Superhero than they did in the finale.

Yes, it's highschooler Mai wearing armor in order to kick Dr. Hedo's ass because modern Trunks is too much of a big fat retard to do it himself:
Damn, the art looks great in this issue. I'm genuinely excited to see teen Trunks and Goten, hopefully Trunks starts acting a bit more like Future Trunks, maybe a little less debilitatingly stricken with PTSD, though
