>You are already your pupil's babysitter
In his universe Goku's absent, sayians were genocided by a Dr. Gero lookalike and King Picollo rules Earth after fighting off Raditz and his kids. I think only Bardock is left alive and he got invited by Picollo to come to Earth for some happy human-murdering hijinks.

One universe has caveman sayians. Other has characters from other Toriyama works. Other has Super Buu who acts like the Joker if he had godlike powers, and does good out of boredom. The universes work more like alternative timelines than what's in DBS.

Trunks has got a point.

Trunks and Goten's teenage super hero antics is a nice change of pace after the Granola arc.

I finally sat down and made myself read all of the Multiverse and I've got to say, it's pretty good. Son Bra is a bit of an obnoxious cunt but I don't see what people were sperging out about in the comments and forums for.
Same with the side stories, they give valuable information on the different teams and tell fun, alternate history stories.

Are there any other good DB webcomics/fan projects out there that I should check out?

Was there ever an official depiction of Goku confronting Frieza on Earth in the "original" timline, where he dies of a heart virus? I always wanted to see Frieza;s reaction when Goku teleports in front of him.

Nah. It's just assumed he instant transmissioned there right when Frieza arrived, turned SSJ and rinsed both him and his pop.

So what are the odds that the series will do anything meaningful with Buu in the future? I know he technically got some focus during the goat arc, but that was more the Daikaioshin than anything else and even then it was overtaken by Goku and Vegeta very quickly. Buu keeps getting shafted and it seems like no one knows what to do with him.

Very doubtful. Mr Buu seems to be fully sidelined, like Yamcha, at this point. I'd expect they'll finally jump(the shark?) to bringing Uub into things. It's been foreshadowed a couple of times. A long of people thought Oracle Fish was referring to Uub, and while it seems like Frieza Black was the true revelation of his prophesy, there might be an double fake out, and it was about Uub all along.

It's definitely a fake-out, Freeza wasn't technically "in" the universe when Granollah made that wish. Whis alludes to this after Goku and Vegeta get their shit kicked in by Freeza's new form.

Gettin' kinda weird there bamco, and that two-tone, Yugi-esque, perfectly segregated hair coloring bothers me more than her French woman pits.
...Fuck. I love it.

Could also be Gohan or Broly, but I'm betting it's Uub. There's also a small chance it's Pan. I'd prefer for it to actually be someone completely unexpected instead.

Everything after the Cell Games isn't canon to me. There's some cool stuff but nothing that had me on the edge of my seat. Also, Tree of Might is best movie.

If it is Uub then it might be a way to add in god ki once more, since that idea got the boot almost as soon as it was introduced.

Pan won the ultra lottery for power so she's destined to be in the top three by the end of all this nonsense, but an unexpected character would be a nice surprise.

It sucks because Buu has the opposite problem Yamcha has, he's too overpowered. Sure he might get decimated in a straight fight if only ki is measured and allegedly Evil Buu took the absorption power with him when he ceased to exist, but the penultimate regeneration, endless stamina, candy beam, and perfected multiform would make him a pain for anyone. The sidelined him four times just because the writers didn't want to spend time thinking of ways to counter all of his moves for a new character's benefit.

...Fuck. I love it.
