I really loved the filler and the comedic aspects.
You are probably the only person I have ever seen have this opinion.
Admittedly it doesn't take much to look charismatic when your competition is that nebbish spic. In seth's case it's also due to power level autists being submissive as a rule: speak with authority and you can tell them whatever they want.
god, that is probably why
what a fucking joke

I really loved the filler and the comedic aspects. My favorite part was the first half before the fight with vegeta and nappa. I guess I gave it a 9 cause it has the OG Dragonball feel that I love.

How'd the saiyan saga get a 9/10? It was nothing but asspulls to stall for time, including vegeta taking a 3 hour nap.
the raditz fight is one of the best in the entirety of dbz, and the fact that they got the entire db gang together to fight vegeta, nappa, and the saibamen was great.
Dragonball Z

Namek Saga = 7/10
namek is an 11/10 saga, vegeta vs the ginyu force is up there as one of the greatest fights in the entire series.

Dragon Ball OCs are a trip, but sometimes we get unnecessarily good shit.
Found this browsing Deviantart after I saw that Fatfag forced feeding Fasha picture that I hope someone posted into Deviantart Horrors

This is the inverse. If you're going to burgerfy DBZ, do it like this:

That's isn't just based, that's outright patrician taste

titanism_by_yuli_ban_dgmkqv4-414w-2x.jpg
In short, Titanism is a scuddy hodgepodge of Italian Futurism, Sparto-Roman style masculinism, Mussolini-influenced masculinism, and Nietzschean/Yarboggeshian philosophy with a good dose of Sith philosophy for good measure and the warrior values of Big Boss and Liquid Snake as the cherry on top. Basically whatever Jack Donovan is on about, minus the gay sex. Or it's Manowar's driving philosophy. Take the racist and totalitarian claptrap out of Fascism and distill the hypermasculine warrior ethos to its most 80s Reaganite form, and you get Titanism. It's every "thrill of combat" propagandizing taken to its extreme.
Sounds unironically based, if veering towards gymbro territory

Atomsk is essentially the "Anti-Themyscira." Whereas Themyscira was ruled by the Amazons as a martial but very peaceful and feminine-oriented city-state free from the corrupting and devastating influence of Men, Atomsk is largely ruled by bollois as an extraordinarily hotblooded, warlike, extremely martial and spartan city-state obsessed with Titanism, masculinity, war, athleticism, and various ur-Fascistic/Futuristic values. Whereas men are shunned in Themyscira as wretched and dangerous, nagois are heralded as Perfection, the ideal warrior form. Whereas Themyscira is largely lesbian-oriented where heterosexuality is more or less a biological necessity, Atomsk is nearly totally asexual and aromantic, only sustained by yenois' breeding and, ironically, a place that seems almost brutally traditionalist and Taliban-esque even by human standards if you relate yenois to women instead of bollois.

You know what it is? I feel like there's actually effort here. Most DBZ shit feels like it's made by spics and niggers who played Tenkaichi 3 and want to put their own spin on DBZ AF or whatever it's called so they can fantasize about faggy multicolored hair and numbers they can't even pronounce
This isn't DBZ either, but at least there's effort to make it different from number autism.

Contrast that with whatever the fuck this is supposed to be, which also isn't number autism at least.

I distinctly remember watching it on CN back in the 90s and it went on for-fucking-ever.
Episode 36 to 107, according to the wiki, which splits Namek up into three to account for the Ginyu and Frieza individually for some reason. That's 71 episodes. 71 weeks. A year and a good portion of one. That's half of Part 1 Naruto's actual canon story during the anime's run time even accounting for filler. By episode 71, One Piece was in the Alabasta Arc.

It took the manga, again according to the wiki, chapter 48 of Z to 135 to wrap up Namek. They were stretching the fuck out of it.

One of the leakers in the Dragon Ball Community, DBS Chronicles, enraged a lot of people because he was charging money for leaks.

By the time I got to know about the situation, his twitter account is gone (not sure if he deleted it or it got taken away) so I can't get anything from his official twitter account. But alas, I still managed to get some hilarious shit.

Despite seeing that most normal people would rather save their money for shit they could get from someone else for free and aren't too keen on paying to listen to this soy boy narrate an episode to them that they would eventually watch, Chronicles decided go along with it anyway.
20240217_205414.jpg
Some of the reactions in his messages aside, a lot of people didn't take this stunt too well, as shown by AnimeAjay's reaction as well as the reaction of other people in his replies and quote tweets.

Why did this guy assume charging money for piracy is a good idea despite being told "no" when he entertained it is beyond me. But y'all can ask him about it in his personal twitter account.

I was about to talk about the same thing. But since you pretty much covered everything, I will just tell you the aftermath of this whole debacle.

Chronicles deactivated his account, hoping this whole thing blows over and he can talk about the weeb shit he always talks about.

He then went on to whine and cry on twitter, acting like the victim in all this instead of just apologizing.

These Dragon Ball Tards really make something so simple so complicated. And as was mentioned above by @Turbo Sped , he entertained the idea before and people told him that they don't like it but he went through with it anyway. So this street shitter is retarded and disingenuous as well.

I stumbled upon this and this today and they gave me aids. There is such a desperate need for the validation of stupid cartoon characters being x powerful or fast. Each thread represents a different era of the internet, the first being from this decade, and the second being from 2006. I was unaware powerscaling brainlets were using "FTL" as a debate term that early, and of course the rhetoric and obsession is all still there. Notice how Mike and various other regulars less appear to be walking on eggshells and seem to tolerate more along with some more blatant sass? In the 2006 thread I get the impression the main culprit is some ESL dipshit that has to argue for his fictional idols' stats as he sweats profusely in his hot room around or south of the equator. Don't get me wrong, it's the same retardation even if they're from America or Europe, but there seems to be a profuse amount of these guys from Mexico downward, as if to signal, "Hello brother, yes I too have an IQ the temperature of the ocean."

Whatever the fuck "Sonic Boom theory" is. What's really changed in the Dragon Ball fandom over the past 14-18 years?

1708219986354.png

I could probably find a thread arguing about these exact same points if I dug hard enough.

1708220156864.png

Five seconds later. There's another one from 2004 arguing stupid shit too:

1708220249287.png

Which is not at all dissimilar to the 2020 thread's reasoning:

1708220376484.png

DBZ as a fandom will never not be shit.

Bonus:

Kanzenshuu's resident troon Jacob thinks DBZ isn't appropriate for teens:

He's also writing some gross troon story on AO3.

Being a zoomer who wasn't big into forums as a youngster I never really got around to using Kanzenshu until around 2016. Would anyone care to share their experiences/ funny stories/ how it was before the troons and soy sippers took over?
