Not just the retarded name but cutting Solas entirely from the next game after Inquisition and its DLC was building him up as the next big bad is such a terrible decision it makes you wonder if the game director was smoking crack.
You see: I am still in shock that they did that I had totally forgotten that they did that as well. The fact that Solas was dropped is so shocking I find it difficult to believe, and yet I must.

Literally the only reason I was holding out any hope for this game was because I wanted to see resolutions to the various cliffhangers Inquisition set up, or which were still up in the air since Origins (the importance of the Old God soul being the biggest). Now it seems like all of those will be glossed over or ignored entirely, and if they do get resolved it's apt to be in the dumbest way imaginable.

If it's really that bad, it needs to be BioWare's death knell.

If this shit ends on another cliffhanger again, I'll go make an account on the Bioware forum and post a comment calling them stupid.
You're a tad late Bioware shut down their official Forums the Bioware Social Network almost nine years ago.

Possibly because they got tired of people correctly pointing out that they are faggots who should kill themselves.

Imagine how good Dreadwolf was that they had to hide it and release this slop instead. They must have figured they can drop this shit now, recoup a few a quid, then release Dreadwolf later when the dust has settled on failguard.

Not gonna lie nigga I think BioWare is cook, at this point so many employees have cycle through that what they are left with isn't much of a studio and I doubt EA will give them another shot if they release a third stinker in a row, in ten years.

On the good and evil thing, one thing that stuck out to me was them talking about how your Rook can be trans, and more than that- can talk about it! And be affirmed.

In short it’s basically a visual novel SI, the tumblr tranny is playing for the virtual experience of fuzzy feels-nothing else.

Even the possibility of “evil” choices ruins that constructed fantasy.

I stand by my contention the biggest problem here is the Tumblr fanbase.

A lot of RP but G unfortunately, thinking about it now I can wish EA decided to never make Single player games again because they are all trash

I read somewhere someone said BioWare should just bite the bullet and get rid of combat all together. Make it entirely a dating sim.

(You know just know it would be 99% queer gay pansexual crap) but at this point, I don’t see why they should pretend to be making rpgs anymore.

If that is the case, what comes of Mass Effect 4? Do EA, like Weekend at Bernie's, prop Bioware's dead corpse up for one more game in the slim chance it is a success? Do they pass the game off to another studio? Aren't Bioware basically another studio at this point anyway?

I think it just doesn't come out, though I was also under the impression that DA4 was vaporware for years so.

They kind of already did. In one of the magazine articles they were talking about how they added a no death setting to Veilguard.

It's set in Tevinter, the country of blood mages, and you can't play an evil blood mage? Wtf is the point of the game then?
I'm wondering if they're retconning Tevinter, because the Absolution show, set in Tevinter, was acting like a Tevinter noble using blood magic was taboo and would get him disowned.

Now, that's a contradiction to their own lore. Not the first time, though. Here, right from the horse's Bioware's mouth
https://youtube.com/watch?v=WOi_Vxwv0Ig
Don't forget that in Inquisition while you're talking to Iron Bull for the first time to recruit him he turns to the tranny and tells them to break open the kegs to celebrate. If you recruit him, he tells everyone to quit drinking and seal the kegs back up. When the Tevinter Tranny protests because obviously they've had the tops smashed he tells them to just use blood magic on them because they're from Tevinter and that's what they do there.

In fairness, this might be public vs private? Publicly Tevinter condemns blood magic, privately its a different story. I believe both Fenris and Dorian say this.

I haven't seen absolution but maaybe if it was too public and thus scandalous?

I'm honestly curious how they'll portray Tevinter. Will it be the magisters are all racist old (White) guys, or will the slavery and grinding oppression be toned down?

Holy fuck this game is done for dude. That making of was brutal. Trying so hard to pretend they give a fuck about Origins to then immediately say that the game has nothing to do with Solas, and that it's all feel good bullshit,

Hilarious. All they had to do was make Inquisition 2.

The DA team have said that Veilguard will be the first entry in the series to have "fun combat". lol, lmao even.
I had the opposite take. This combat system looks boring enough to me that I'm probably not going to end up playing on the game do to it alone. I really wish this series would've just stuck to the combat origins had instead of changing everything up for each sequel.
