The video has been making the rounds and being mocked by the usual YouTube suspects that content farm these things, but the grown-up trans Eddie Munster known as Unifadewalker made a video whining that it no longer feels that BioWare is sincere and genuine in representing it and its fellow sheboons. Yes, it is that same thing that made the "OMG! ZIPPERTITS! I LOVE IT!" video that became the poster meme for this game.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mRIrRQbM0xI&ab_channel=UniFadewalker (note: it's really not worth clicking and listening; her voice is annoying and she bleats about the same things over and over like a broken record; use your time on something else more productive and enjoyable)

It's the same logic you can find on Reddit:
- This game represents MEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
- Therefore, BioWare MUST support the game forever, even if doing so means losing lots and lots of money!
- BioWare must also fete and celebrate the tards that made this huge failure of a game because they made the game representative of MEEEEEEEEE!
- What? They pulled the plug on the game? They drove off its BFF Corrine?!!!!!! BETRAYAL!!! HOW DARE THEY!!!! FUCK YOU CHUDS!!!

Of course, this thing is still @BioWare on various social media now saying her TRUEST, REALEST love all along is Mass Effect 2, so they better don't forget to give her early access and swags to the new Mass Effect game! Hypocrite and grifter? NEVER!

I've seen clips of this. What struck me was how personally she's taking BioWare's collapse -- there are moments she seems on the verge of tears. Parasocial relationships with corporate brands are really unhealthy, kids.

Apparently, she and Tranny Busche are friends or something. Probably just took a pic with Busche and immediately assumed that they were besties forever, for all we know. She has a creepy "You squint at something on the wall behind her, and she assumes that she and you are now lovers" vibe to her.

That half makes sense, except that the current incarnation of Bioware isn't competent enough to make a new Mass Effect that would sell either.
The scary part is that they likely don't have anyone else to do it.

I don't think most people realize just how much the competency crisis has impacted gaming. I've seen plenty of anecdotal stories of industry insiders saying that they wouldn't be able to recreate a game from years ago because they don't know how to do it anymore.

EA has nearly 14,000 employees, yet the number of games and, more importantly, the quality of said games, has cratered. I genuinely have no fucking idea what those 14,000 people even do all day.
Give it to the Dead Space remake team; at least they know how to do competent third-person combat so that's one thing nailed down off the bat.
They're working on Marvel slop apparently, and even if they weren't that still leaves the issue of finding a writing team with the necessary chops and, more importantly, emotional maturity to leave their political views at the door and deliver a product the market would actually want.

I kept listing through their currently active dev teams, trying to find one that would be the right fit for the job, and the only one that has released anything halfway decent was, as you said, Motive.

And while the remake was for the most part well received, EA said it didn't meet their sale expectations, so they are likely not going to give the team any more "important" projects.

Corinne Busche was immediately hired on at WoTC after destroying Bioware. Wonder what product she'll be ruining by shoving tranny shit into it this time? Baldur's Gate 4?

LOL. LMAO even. Tough break there to leave a bunch of beloved characters to WOTC only to have the person who destroyed Dragon Age to be placed in charge of them.

I've never been more excited for BG3 DLC or BG4.

Hmm. WOTC directly huh? So he'll probably be writing core books and assisting on games in terms of lore.
That reminds me, when Owlcat adapted Wrath of the Righteous, Amber Scott was credited as a writer on that. She also wrote the terrible Siege of Dragonspear. Me thinks that one of the unannounced Owlcat projects is working with WOTC in some capacity, seeing as how well they worked with Paizo. I wouldn't be surprised if Corrine ended up writing something that Owlcat would produce.

BG3 DLC? Hm, didn't think that was going to be a thing. The licensing and IP rights might make that difficult.

BG4 is what I thought. Or Icewind Dale 3 or something. Same engine but new story, so they can shove Busche's totally original character, Gaash, a nonbinary transsexual Tiefling with blue skin and stupid looking horns who lectures you on respecting pronouns every time you go to camp.

... Anyone know how hard adding "top surgery" scars to BG3's engine would be?

WOTC owns BG3 in it's entirety. Everything that Larian made was made for WOTC. WOTC owns the game, the setting, and all of the characters.

WOTC also owns Dungeons and Dragons and all "official" settings as well - and Magic the Gathering on top of it. They can basically do whatever they want.

The only thing they don't own is Larian's proprietary Divinity engine, which BG 3 is built in. I'm sure they'd be willing to license that out to WOTC though.

Owlcat stuff is in the Unity engine, but it wouldn't surprise me if they spearheaded BG4. but honestly who knows.

WOTC has race-flipped several Ravenloft characters and gender-flipped the serial rapist Vlad Drakov, in addition to other fuckery on Forgotten Realms (already a cancerous setting, now worse), Dark Sun and Greyhawk. I deeply regret buying BG3 because I gave my fucking money to Wokes of the Coast.

Wizards of the Coast has completely raped Dungeons & Dragons to death at this point, and if you read their official books, the setting is nearly indistinguishable from the tone and aesthetics of Dragon Age: The Veilguard. Conflict is discouraged, the players are expected to be coddled and shielded from triggering things, lots of Mary Sue POCs and snowflakes running wild, and total wipe of "nasty" stuff like slavery. Oh, and no baddies allowed - Orcs and Drows are now genderspeshul, and there are actually official modules about going to prom and running a fucking coffee shop.

The tranny will fit right in.

Faggots of the coast are going to run into a little problem if they want to release a BG3 DLC or a BG4, they first need to find a developer competent enough to make the fucking thing.

Larian have stated they have no wish to work with WOTC ever again, and every other dev in the industry was crying bitch tears about how unfair Larian was for raising the standards so high with BG3, so I expect the troon to just be involved in some dogshit module for the tabletop.

I hope the tranny brings his unique set of skills to WOTC and helps them deliver their very own Veilguard.

The tranny's skillset is exactly that, though.

Take an already completed game (aka DA:Dreadwolf) and then just bolt on a bunch of absolute dogshit and try and sell it to an already established audience (Dragon Age fans). BG3 is complete enough that the engine/tools/documentation should allow for them to basically do anything they want to (except have characters over level 12).

My prediction for Mass Effect 5, which I doubt will even happen tbh, is that EA will try to pull a Star Wars Outlaws and emphasise all the "good" stuff in the marketing, have an embargo on reviews, and when it does release it will be Andromeda levels of broken and/or Veilguard levels of badly written.

There is no possible future I can see where Mass Effect 5 releases and is actually good, so their only option is to deceive people long enough to exploit the brand.
