Here is Branson again after gorging himself on Thanksgiving turkey guts...

My two boys, Shadow and Bentley.

One of my sons found Shadow in an empty field when he was about six weeks old, and we adopted Bentley from my other cheeslet when he moved into a place that didn't allow pets.

I do not like cats and I am somewhat allergic to them, but that does not mean that I wish them the worst; this kitty was stranded at our house and could not get down from the water tank on the roof.

I have already put him up for adoption with my friends and relatives. I hope that I can get him a good home before Christmas.

Update: Kitty (temporary name) has been eating a lot. I took him to the vet yesterday and he says that Kitty is just malnourished, and gave him a can of special food and a kept him up with his jabs.

I have just secured a home for him, tomorrow they will come to take it to a nice family. Also, sharing camera space is Borlita, my Guinea Pig.

Happy Thanksgiving from my fat cat. He's had a rough life, but we always take care of him. He's also kinda 'tarded, but that's a plus.

...and the feathery cats who took advantage of me forgetting the door was open.

Kute Kiwi Kat has gotten (semi) big. She still hasn't doubled her adoption weight, and I think she's maxed out due to being a runt.

oh she knows exactly what she is doing

humongous chungus. planning on getting a microchip feeder for our other cat so he doesn't steal his food but that shit's like $60.
I'd suggest switching him to exclusively wet cat food twice a day on a consistent schedule and feed the other cat in another room until he gets his weight under control. I've only ever used wet cat food and a strict feeding schedule so my cat is never overweight. If anything she doesn't eat enough because she's a bit of a picky eater. In my unprofessional opinion you should avoid dry food whenever possible, it's loaded with carbs and highly processed.

we do feed them wet food twice a day, the problem is ronin (the skinny) eats it more gradually while spider scarfs it all up. so locking one or the other in the room wouldn't work

My friend had this issue and took a large Tupperware bin, placed it upside down and cut a hole that only the small cat could fit through and placed its food in there.

Found out my poor old man has a thyroid issue and that's why he's so skinny now, we'll be putting him on meds to help control it and the vet assured us that cats can live a pretty long time with thyroid issues like this. Still don't like the reminder that he's old and is having Old Man Problems :(

Happy that his sister is doing well though, they're both coming up on 14 years old.

they're too smart and determined for that (and their heads are roughly the same size)

Unused photo with Kitty that I forgot to post the day they came for him (he goes by the name of Baguira nowadays):

He is now in a good home with a lovable family.
