It's impossible to get her to sit still for a picture.

She always has that surly look. She's got the cat equivalent of resting bitch face.

Her birthday is Tuesday and I'm going to have a little party. Gonna get some sardines for her and my other cat, Hotdog.

Happy birthday Egg!
She looks so sassy. I bet if she could type she would be a poster here. She looks like she has opinions, lol!

Do guinea pigs count as cats?

He turned 9 in March...he is doing fine, but three years ago I noticed a sesame-seed sized growth on his face right below his lower right eyelid. I ignored it as I thought it was a wart or a lipoma.

However, last year it had doubled in size, and because it had a very rough appearance and it was hard, I decided to have it removed and looked at, as I did not want it to start causing Branson problems in the future because of how close it was to his eye.

It turns out, it was a precancerous mast cell tumor, and it ended up being the size of a pea underneath the skin. Fortunately, the veterinarian thinks that she got all of it with the laser, and it probably will not come back. If I did not have it removed, it could have become cancerous at any time, so I guess we dodged a bullet.

Thank goodness! I hope that sweetie stays healthy forever <3
Dealing with serious health problems with pets is so hard because the poor babies don’t understand what is happening and you can’t explain it to them. So when the medicine tastes bad or the treatment is painful they look at you like you betrayed them and it just breaks my heart. :(
