Another update on the Crusade of Doom; I am more than halfway through Plutonia as of today.
To say it has been emotionally and mentally exhausting is an understatement. I'll be honest, I have never really completed Plutonia, only TNT. So experiencing the Archvile Maze TM firsthand is something I have never really done before in classic Doom.
I will say however, the fights are as intense as ever if not more so than Doom 2, and the maps are short but sweet, perfect for a guy like me who is starting to get a little tired of the Doom Engine's shenanigans (Sue me, three of these games in a row can get a little samey).
The journey is only a quarter way through, but already I can feel the determination to finish what I started coursing through me. There are still so many demons to slay, and only a mere 46 days remaining until the REAL shit begins. I have to complete this final trial before I can move on to the majesty of Doom 64, and by proxy Doom 2016.
I have to finish this.
For Daisy.
