Jonny is clearly pissed to the point of being unstable. We all knew he was a shit driver - he’s shit at everything - but his driving out of the parking lot was especially performative.

Donny should take Kari out to Olive Garden for Jon's birthday. They can get a piece of birthday cake for DFS and record the staff singing Happy birthday to him. JYS would lose his shit. Not to mention the endless salad breadsticks.
 
I think it is also of some significance here that the sheriffs threatened him with arrest at the beginning of the hearing if he didn't keep his trap curse-word free and then escorted him to his car afterwards which I doubt was done as a service to Jon. What are the odds that it will begin to sink in with him that he is no longer the Golden Child? .05%, maybe?
 
Make no mistake. Jonathan is pissed beyond belief. Yes, it was only $350 but anyone thinking a person without lawyer's fees would get much more is dreaming. I believe the denial of Jon's application and getting his hand smacked in court is more of a blow than anything.

$350 not as much as I would have liked or hoped for but a win for Donald nonetheless. I hope he enjoys every penny of it.

The fact that yaniv was peeved is priceless.

I sprang from my bed this morning like a child on Christmas Day, eager to open my presents. This is what the internet has done to me.

My initial feeling was disappointment at the absence of an extra digit on the settlement.

On reflection, this of a triumph of level-headedness over a bully who, for too long, has been given licence by the Canadian legal system to cynically and transparently single-out vulnerable people, while disingenuously crying victim. It is also a personal victory for Donald, who resisted being goaded by Yaniv into behaviour that might have harmed his case. With the help of Kari, he has crystallised a legal precedent around his tormentor that may result in further legal action and escalating settlements.

The tide is on the turn, the whale Yaniv is marooned a long way up the beach, and the neither the land nor the sea wants anything to do with him. As social ostracization goes, it's almost biblical in scope.

I see this as the monster turning on its creator. Miriam may have sharp elbows, but they are no use when her non-specifically gendered offspring has armoured themselves in several inches of fat, and has tendency towards throwing this excess weight around when they don't get what they want. I would love to know more about Yaniv's early home situation. I can't believe what we have witnessed from him is entirely down to nature. There has to be abuse, in some way, shape or form, that seasoned any predispositions he was born with.
