Isnt he the best mortal kombat player going around? and they are just about to drop a new game, so i doubt hes in any sort of issue for relevancy

they wont drop him while hes winning, Fighting games (in the west, i dunno how it is in the east) have a history of giant sperg lords playing and making asses of themselves.

Its just like real sport while your the best you can pretty much be as exceptional as you want with very few repercussions as long as you dont come out as an actual nazi or some shit.

MK11 is vastly different from 10, and so far it's not up to his playstyle from what I've heard. It's now a game of patience, so now it's gorey Street Fighter. He struggled a lot in his match as Sonya vs Raiden despite the win. I'm extremely anal about analysing people's playstyle, so I wont go into full detail, but to sum it up he was not doing so well with being able to adapt to the new mechanics of waiting for an opening, which caused him to go in a bit of a panic when he went from 0-2 to 2-2 in his favor.

So he does better in games with aggressive playstyles as the meta or system? Honestly, he always seemed a bit jittery or anxious so I really shouldn't be surprised to hear this.

Might also explain his fascination with guro, but eh... I'm entering Jack Thompson levels there. He's probably just a sperg who can't sit still for longer than two minutes, yet can go on for hours about how he's this, that and it.

Yes, exactly it. It's why he doesn't play games like Street Fighter or Tekken. Street Fighter heavily rewards those who are patient and those who are able to read the minds of the opponent. Tekken punishes those who try to be hyper aggressive (or rushdown) by having extreme amounts of moves leaving you open if you don't use it right, as well as some moves being avoidable in certain stances, like standing punches, which don't attack people who are crouching.

Look at his playstyle in Soulcaliber 6 and you'll note that he ends up trying to be too hasty at times which gets him in a corner, figuratively, and ends up making him lose quite a bit once he starts picking up a pace, only to lose it because he starts playing it like a different fighter. I haven't seen him play SC6 in a while.

I don't think that's the case, as people who place well (or have placed well in the past) will usually be able to stay in the FGC basically forever. There are a large number of sponsored players who don't win or place frequently (much like there are a large number of sports teams that aren't "good" teams, such as every NY sports team) and he'll always have a large number of EVO wins over any of those players, so he'll probably be around for a while (unless he does something stupid or has an allegation come up).

Additionally, he's really young (20). His contemporaries are a large amount older, like Justin Wong (33), Tokido (33), Daigo (37), Nemo (34), etc and the list goes on so even if he fell off a little bit now, he's plenty young enough to change his style and adapt to new metas and games. He's also young enough to potentially grow out of this oversharing phase but in $currentyear having a gay, black, young dude winning in tournaments is good optics for the corporate side of fighting games.

We've had an influx of the same pearl-clutchers we make fun of come in who are just looking for reasons to get offended.

Funnily enough, they also complain about the dang ole' SJWs while not realizing they do the exact same shit. Like LOL, come back to me when SonicFox posts art of his edgy fursona skullfucking a severed head and wearing intestines like a feather boa.
