I always have the hottest take of the dark side of the moon album being the best. The reason being is they got really experimental after that album and made all the songs even longer and at times would loose agency in the music. (I know they were super experimental when they first started but it’s not as crazy as the end) I think the first album had all it needed to say in the timeframe it was recorded in. Also interstellar overdrive, wish you were here, Arnold layne, comfortably numb and (my favorite of the syd era) jugband blues.

My favorite Pink Floyd song is Fearless.

Syd Barrett was very promising, then destroyed his mind with LSD. David Gilmour stepped in to become the soul of the band. Unfortunately, he gave Roger Waters enough rope to hang himself. They made interesting music, but you have to remember that they are just entertainers.

I like Dark Side of the Moon but it's not my favourite. I like Wish you Were Here, The Wall and Animals better. It's a toss up between The Wall and Animals for my favourite though. I fucking love The Wall. I've seen the movie a bunch of times, listened to the album and every live version of the album I've been able to find I don't know how many times. But I also really like Animals. I enjoy the way the three main songs tie in together and just the whole atmosphere of the album in general.

I think their music is undeniably amazing, but it's not something I listen to often.

Yes. They will never get old, even after thousands of hours of listening.

The only albums I don't like are Endless River and the Final Cut.
I even like The Division Bell and A Momentary Lapse of Reason
