I thought it was a silly meme. But is this really true? Do Americans not get a public holiday here? Do they REALLY?

Coles and Woolies sell them all year round now. Yummy.
 
I’d laugh if they made the whole Trans Day of Visibility as an federal holiday and Easter gets screwed.

(Plus Golden Week is a better holiday season in anyways.)
 
I have noticed the distinct lack of Easter theming in the Kiwi forum, despite the fact that Dear Feeder puts in a special theme for every other holiday. I will not double down on my original hypothesis, as he is the ultimate Amerimutt: Americans do not celebrate the lord and saviour rising for the grave and they do not eat tasty, egg-shaped chocolate treats.
