If a real artist can't make something as mundane as a wolf "original" or whatever you're arguing, what chance does an AI have? It will probably give it extra claws and other unnatural features, making it look awful with a side of uncanny valley, and then what? So show me any design of wolf that isn't forgettable from the last decade. The whole point is using AI for stock objects that no one cares about.

Just look at the last 2 COD games, how the quality of visuals declined. You don't even need to look at art assets, Black Ops 6 maps are probably made straight up using AI, due to how small and nonsensical some of them are, make no sense from map design perspective when it comes to player positioning, balancing ect. and feels like something a child would draw in 5 minutes without understanding how any of it works and that's not even getting into the assets that were confirmed to be made by an AI that are everywhere in BO6 and BO7. That's AI for you, then the human handler barely iterates on it or just leaves it as is, and there, it's done. Might as well use that time to make a proper good asset, rather than cleaning up a randomly generated piece of shit, at least you're guaranteed to have something worthwhile by the end. If we're going down that route, might as well make a list of features you want and use a random number generator to choose which ones are going to be included in the game, too.

BTW, plenty of games have concept art books which show assets or ideas that never made it into the games themselves, and even these are better than what an AI can come up with. If you knew anything about gaming, you would know that too. There will never be an art book of AI made content because it will just look like slop you can easily google in 5 minutes, no point in putting in the effort. There is no reason to re-invent the wheel just because some fancy new toy came around, and you're an idiot if you think using it in the industry is going to improve the quality or efficiency in anyway.

BG3 really does have the flaw of insufferable companions. I frankly expect RPG characters at this point to be playersexual but avoided the Shadowheart and romance options save for Minthara on one run. Again, nobody made you fuck that bear.

As for the violence in the divinity trailer - if you think the behavior depicted is supposed to be portrayed in a positive light you might literally be autistic. Shadowheart romance literally ends with her suggesting settling with the player in a rural farm in her "good" path.
Her "Evil" path she prioritizes just being a mindless slave to her religion, because she is literally brainwashed to do so, saying that "Her body is free for you to do with" but Shar is where her heart is.

Astarion still is obsessed with the player regardless of route, but still is a deflective man-whore and will let you cuck HIM and only if you choose to do it but will basically be your loyal partner because you are the first person he has chosen to be with of his own volition. But for evil path he basically becomes exclusively dominant and will reject you if you don't accept it and becomes more of a petty ex than a person which a lot of people didn't like.

The violence is fairly relevant considering the initial concern trolling revolves around a trailer of clearing degenerate people performing a dark ritual. Bhaalspawn runs are considered canon in all three BG's - the Tav/custom runs are for those of us that aren't 14 anymore and don't care for the edgyboy runs anymore. I'm sure there's some Stardew Valley mod somewhere that makes gay marriage impossible and you can be the best little TradCon you can imagine if that's what you want from an RPG.
