Trailer aside I hope this time it's not turn based. I played through older games I liked them more than newer installments. They were clunkier games for sure but I had more fun in them. Maybe I am just not a turn based gamer but I like the world of Rivellon so probably will check it out either way.

Pay close attention, and you will see that the people who are screeching faggots about "woke" will also play the most soulless gacha games or whatever shit falls from the ass of Japan, simply because it's anime and Japan. It's even funnier when you find their Steam profiles and it's filled with hentai and he's part of groups with "cunny" in the title.

OS1 and BG3 were good, OS2 was great. I will play this one for sure. I don't care about the woke stuff in BG3. I didn't let it get in the way of having fun. The worst thing was the fat black tranny questgiver in the last act and he wasn't even important. I played it after they patched out the overt gayness. What matters a lot more to me is inventory management. I absolutely hate juggling literally hundreds of items between four characters, it's insane. It's so tedious and time consuming.

It might not be wishful thinking. From Swen Vincke:

So who knows, may be it will be something akin to the main Elder Scrolls games with the same level of mechanical depth as both DOS games(elemental manipulation and item interaction) and the quickness of D2 action-rpg combats.

That really is the bigger issue than anything. Got to wonder if this will also be released in early access like Baldur's Gate 3, there is just something so depressing about an RPG being released incomplete. You should be able to play it from start to finish on day one, not wait months for the half-assed, incomplete finale to be patched in.

Don't quote me on this, but I recall reading that the invasion of Ukraine cut them off from a lot of their workers and they had to hire more Western "talent" - BG3's Act 1 and 2 are markedly different, better written and less degenerate/woke than Act 3, and they were even more so during the EA.

Dunno about the Ukraine part, but they definitely hired more western "talent" over the years they've been active, and already existing western "talent" probably got pozzed in the process. So they both contracted even more cancer as well as letting some fester beforehand.

Still the best fantasy that's worth rereading and rewatching until the end of (my) days. A lot of older media is worth reading/watching for the nth time more than a lot of modern media I watched. I've had more of my peer be inspired by older media than newer media, I've also had more of said peers be disheartened by how accepted and praised shitty modern media compared to shitty older media. There's reasons as to why people stick to the classics.
