We see the setting they're going for; that degeneracy is bad, evil and needs to be punished. This is the reveal trailer and doesn't tell the full story.

If, in the next trailer, shiny-armour-clad-knights-upon-horseback come riding in and chopping orcs heads off en masse, then everything is gravy.

I was right there with you laughing at how bad KCD2 was. I was laughing at how bad failguard was. If this game turns out to be shit, I'll be right there with you laughing at how bad it is.

I won't be making up a load of old fucking baloney based on what is a pretty boring cgi trailer.

The worst thing this game can do isn't gay sex orgies, it's removing TBC.

People genuinely need to develop their pattern recognition skills.

The success of Baldur's Gate 3 will have only emboldened Larian to double down on the degeneracy and wokeness present in that game, not to dial back on it.

The same people that butchered the game we had in early access into what was ultimately shipped still work at Larian, and have become more powerful and entrenched.

I'm bored of assuming it's going to be woke shite and I'm bored of it being woke shite.

I optimistically hope it will be a good game, because OS 1 and 2 were, as was BG3. I've developed an immunity to woke shite where it no longer pisses me off, I just ignored it and do something else. Ignoring shit makes it go away, rage baiting emboldens it.

A quandary: is it better for a game to provide you wokeshit to "punish" in game, or is it better for it to simply not be present at all? Personally, I lean towards the latter. I'd rather the setting itself not tolerate that type of behavior, no matter how degenerate it's portrayed as. So keeping in mind that yes, the trailer is merely a reveal trailer crafted for an auditorium comprised of the biggest collection of faggots outside of an AF con, if they very first thing they have to show is "this game is full of everything you hate" well whodathunkit, I hate it.

The problem isn’t that the trailer was what it was, the problem is that it was dumped on people who were watching an awards show and not expecting HBO trash to ambush them on screen. If Divinity faggots like this shit, more power to them, but I didn’t appreciate having that shoved down my throat.

I didn't like the fact that for a good run, I had to suffer annoying dykes and faggot gnomes. The alternative to this faggotry was becoming literally Satan.
Anyway, this is a new divinity title and I don't remember those games having faggotry. So, I'm hoping for something good.
