Dispatch is a superhero workplace comedy where choices matter. Manage a dysfunctional team of misfit heroes and strategize who to send to emergencies around the city, all while balancing office politics, personal relationships, and your own quest to become a hero.
Thought the game looked interesting, though I don't have super high hopes for it, and I didn't see a thread here so I decided to make it myself. It is apparently made by a lot of the people from Telltale Games, specifically the Wolf Among Us and Tales From the Borderlands S1 so take of that what you will.

What stood out to me is the cast though, some of these choices seem odd, alongside the fact that it will be episodic releases.

If they are going to make a game where you make fun of extremely dumb superheroes but make these same heroes trans and libtard, it will be gold.

I look at this game with its characters and I am instantly overtaken with a sense of diminished happiness.

These screen shots smell of soy and mediocrity.

>celebrity voice cast
gonna be shit just based on that, don't even need to engage in the obvious culture war stuff. you already know where the budget went.

So, this game has been released. Anyone played it yet?
Yeah I played it. It's bacisally Invincible the game. Very similar tone to the writing & they even have their own version of Omni Man. Instantly recognised Moist Critical's bland voice. If Mayonaise could speak it would sound like him.

I had no idea it was going to be episodic which pissed me off. I thought something was wrong and wound up restarting the game deleting my progress. Had I known I would have waited until it was all out before trying it out.

The game will run like shit, they will miss all their release dates for the new episodes, be nothing but talking and your choices will not matter.

Apparently most (all?) of the assets for future episodes are already in the game files and people are datamining it for spoilers.
I was expecting the staggered release to backfire in some way but not that one!

That's assuming that these assets will actually be used and aren't there to create hype of a more involved story than what will be in practice.

Moistcritical as a main character.
They hired the man who couldn't act his way out of a graveyard by pretending to be alive to do voice acting.

These aren't just little text strings like "You chose not to kill Scrimblo Bimblo in Episode 7" but entire cutscenes showing romances, character deaths, etc. They would not put the substantial time and effort needed to make these into fakes, they're the same quality as what's released already.
I haven't seen if all the leaks have been collected in one place but several of them have been posted in /v/ threads about the game.
