Yeah but how are they not short hairy humans?

Plus you misconstruct the argument, the point is that real dwarves do exist, that they are not fantasy creatures, that they are under-represented and that this type of story is dehumanizing.
Which is why I said I got where he was coming from. Especially when you consider they're one of the few roles short actors really get to play.

In the sense that elves are tall people with pointy ears (or short people with pointy ears, depending on the depiction).
Bad example because we don't have a subcategories of humans who are born with pointy ears.

I wasn't answering to you, you will notice

I just found a thing about age gaps in Disney films and thought it was interesting. The real Snow White news is that Peter Dinklage isn't happy with the way Disney's going about making the new film. Not sure why he thinks they live in a cave and not that nice cottage in the woods though.
Alright it's "Snow Brown and Seven Midgets Circlejerking in a Cave" now.

Is everyone happy?

I still say the live action cgi hybrid Robin Hood will be worse.
"The new take is said to be a musical and again will feature the characters as anthropomorphic, this time in a live-action/CG hybrid format." Nightmare fuel unless you are a furfag

Are they going to do Cats all over again?

Yeesh, is anybody really attached to Aristocats to begin with? I think I enjoyed it when I was 4, but it bored me to tears when I tried to watch it again when I was around 10 or 11.

Oh god… everything about both of these sounds horrible.

My first time seeing The Aristocats was in a grade school gym from a 16mm projector because they played it one year before winter or spring break. Don't recall the reaction then (it was almost 40 years ago).

It does. I feel sorry for the deceased animators to see their work overshadowed by inferior amateurs.

If any old Disney property needs a remake it's The Black Cauldron. Do it again, be more faithful to the books (expanding on stuff that was left out) and throw in some Lord of the Rings-tier action if you really need to.

Or any of the 2000s films with cult followings. Disney neutered their animation division hard back then thanks to Pixar, so works like Treasure Planet, Atlantis, Meet the Robinsons, and others never got the care they needed to be the successes they should have been.

Somehow in someway that sounds worse then disney hiring some fursuiters in their fursuits to act in the film.

I might have agreed with you 20 years ago but I absolutly do not trust current year Disney of making a faithful adaptation of the Chronicle of Prydain books. They would just turn it into netflex tier trash.

Sword in the Stone or the original Rescuers then maybe? That whole era could benefit from a new coat of paint.
