Of course. So not only Splash Mountain, they'll probably be looking at changing Tiki Room and anything related to Native Americans (Thunder Mountain?) I wouldn't be surprised if this was in part to serve Iger's fucktarded vision of everything at the parks being connected to an IP they've acquired.

Because changing the Tiki Room for the sake of being relevant was a success the first time:

At the absolute most, I can see them maybe adding some "Princess and the Frog" related scenery on the ride as opposed to a complete overhaul.

That's gonna work out real well.

That, incidentally, is why I don't think much is going to come out of the push to change the ride. It'll blow over soon, and the ride itself is essentially a neutered version of the Brer Rabbit shorts.

It's only a rumor, Iger's on his way out anyway... and like I said, having to rework Splash Mountain into a totally new attraction would cost a lot of fucking money. People don't realize what this would entail.
It would also close one of their biggest attractions for more than a year. People without little kids would just walk right through Critter Country. And if it is true, this is their way of saying "We'll think about it", and I wouldn't be surprised if they quietly drop it once people stop paying attention.

Now that things are getting worse down in Florida I can only wonder how they're going to make sure there are no lawsuits. Will there be mandatory mask-wearing?
yeah, masks, distancing, from what I gather you basically Magic Band Fast Pass Hyper Turbo your entire trip
and things are fine in Florida, they're going into overkill on testing so the cases are increasing, and most all the spike is people who didn't actually get sick

edit for the official instructional video

I would be concerned if Arizonans swarmed Disneyland because we're experiencing a huge spike. It's not a testing thing either, we went from "not that bad" to "almost out of ICU" beds pretty quick in the last month. We don't need to pass that on to underpaid Californians.

"This is for stealing Don Bluth's thunder and making Fox pack up their Phoenix animation studio, Mickey! *coofs*"

That was Titan AE's fault.

They were struggling before Titan A.E., but it did go up against Chicken Run (not Disney, yeah, but still). Then X-Men was released the following month. I wonder if 20th Century Fox themselves might've played a part in it bombing tbh, kinda like how Disney would let Treasure Planet bomb a few years later.

I think even if Titan A.E. didn't bomb Fox was going to do something else to throw Bluth off. Blue Sky came about after the Fox studio closed, so Bluth was this close to having worked on Ice Age, and look how big that got. What if that could've saved the studio had it stayed open? 🤔

Chicken Run came out the weekend after Titan AE, which flopped right out the gate with no other films competing for the same audience unless there’s a lot of crossover between it and fans of Shaft 2000 that I’m not aware of. Chicken Run was trying to attract families while Titan AE was trying to attract teenagers, who back then weren’t inclined towards animated fare. To posit that X-men played a hand is really stretching since Titan AE had an entire month in theaters before that came out. Even in the less front loaded days of 2000, most movies would have made the bulk of their gross by then, which was the case for Titan AE since it had made about 99% of its final gross. All X-men did was make Fox executives breathe a sigh of relief since they had a hit that would draw attention away from an enormous flop.

I saw Shaft 2000 and Titan AE in theaters.

They make you agree that you understand you may get covid going there when you book or even go to the app/website:

.
And every resort/park entrance and placed throughout supposedly has signs that state:

They seem to be in the long run for not having anything going on in the parks. Had a halloween party booked from last year for Halloween and they cancelled it and deleted my tickets.

Uh-huh. So you have to sign a waiver that you may get infected. At least, so I hear, they're doing things to minimize the risks of infection.
