I think they are useless, just wash dishes by hand and don't let them stack up

Sorry, I spoiled it to not ruin things for others; it’s on you that you clicked the damn thing.Aw man I always wanted to go to a fondue restaurant…
What a bunch of retardation, dishwasher are always cleaner then by hand, if you are not living alone and not having one your are pretty much just torturing yourself for no reason
The bar for doing better than a dishwasher is so low you’d have to be a literal retard or a complete slob to achieve a worse result. The only advantage a dishwasher has is you’re not standing there while the dishes get “clean;” but it fails in saving time or effort, and is definitely nowhere near as clean.Dishwashers do a better job of washing dishes than I can, but that's probably because I'm shit at washing dishes.
I've heard the same but with toilet seats/plungers. Even if false I've seen people unironically defend it... don't care even if you can prove to me the dishwasher is sanitary afterwards, that's fucking grossI've heard some people clean their toilet brush in the dishwasher. I hope that's just an urban legend.
Nice rethorical trick to frame anyone saying the dishwasher is cleaner as an idiot. The bar for doing better than a dishwasher is so low you’d have to be a literal retard or a complete slob to achieve a worse result
Are you using pods? If yes that might be the issue, do not use these all in one things, always dose seperate and according to your modelI wouldn't like to live without one, but they are bad for our glassware![]()
Dishwashers need to do so in order to compensate for their inefficacy. You don't need scalding water and caustic soaps to clean your hands, which gather way worse filth than leftover food. The point of soap in the first place is to lower the surface tension of water to make non-fatty particles soluble while providing a intermittent medium for fats to bond to. The dishwasher needs to go above and beyond because it's using the same compartment for its rinse cycle as it does the wash cycle, without a break to actually clear away any accumulated food particles in the machine. In order to avoid this, you have to clear enough food from the dishes that you may as well save the extra energy of putting them into the machine itself and fully handwash your dishes.dishwashers are hotter and can use detergents that are too aggressive for human skin
This used to be the case a long time ago, but I've found that newer ones actually do a really, really good job.I don't see the point. They never get the dishes as clean as good old elbow grease.
Washing machines use almost no water in comparison to hand washing. They fill up once and reuse that water over and over again. They also don't use very much electricity. They use maybe use 0.5kWh to 1kWh per load. That's like $0.10/load. They're more efficient than slaves.I hand wash despite having a dish washer because I grew up poor
WTF? You don't have pans, water bottles, utensils like spatulas/whisks/etc, appliances with cleanable shit like a rice cooker or egg steamer? You must live in poverty. When i live alone i usually only have one set of utensils: ie one plate, one bowl, one fork, one spoon, one knife, then I just hand wash.
Living with other people makes this a bit unreasonable, though.
I use a air fryer if i need ti cook something, and i just out the bowl in it to keep it from getting messy. Youre right about the rice cooker, thats needs to be cleaned too.WTF? You don't have pans, water bottles, utensils like spatulas/whisks/etc, appliances with cleanable shit like a rice cooker or egg steamer? You must live in poverty.
it takes longer to wash dishes with the dishwasher than doing it by hand. you have to get the dishes clean enough so debris doesn't clog up the hose. It's maybe 10-15 minutes to clean a full sink of dishware. unless you're dealing with heavy oils or a grand dinner. You can make this argument for any appliance - I don't understand why you'd object to such things unless your time and effort are worth nothing. I don't have a dishwasher, but I'm perfectly happy to use them when available.
It doesn't really matter how long it takes in absolute terms (within reason) when it's a machine doing the work. If it takes me fifteen minutes to wash dishes by hand and an hour to wash in the dishwasher, it's still saved me fifteen minutes.it takes longer to wash dishes with the dishwasher than doing it by hand.
