Dev agree with tweets with zero context, penalizing companies for hiring illegal foreign workers is what they voted for.

How in the world is a worker shortage bad for the workers? Especially when those immigrants in those jobs were subpar and paid for pennies?

True believers on the left (like dev) are still somehow under the impression that the left represents the working class. In their insane little minds the "right-wing" people being "owned" here are the company's owners, who "fell for it" and no longer have access to cheap labor. The idea that the workers could possibly be the right wing, or that the company owners could be left wing (only rightwingers have money, chud) is totally beyond them.

You are very :optimistic: if you think they know how basic economics work.
Probably because the only people left are complete die hard fans who agree with him.
How many shekels are required to get to that discord server ?

Answering this seriously, they are only looking at the immediate short term.

Worker shortages result in a period of zero activity, as companies would need to scramble to replace their current labor force. For a construction company, this means that various projects will be slowed behind schedule. For other companies like farming, factory production, etc; it means a slump in products and produce hitting the shelf. Potentially increasing prices in the short-term when supplies dwindle.

Add to that fact is the fact that the company may be unable to reach the level of production they had before. Since non-illegal workers will demand higher saleries, the cost for a comparable workforce would rise.

This all lead to the same general point and the only concern to those that say this is bad. In the short-term, this means prices will rise, supply will dwindle, and companies may have to downsize to adapt. In the Long-term, this pays off. As local workers would become able to invest creating a more healthier economy that isn't reliant on pseudo-slave labor. But to the Left, who only considers the present; this doesn't matter.

Not that it excuses it, but Triffin's Dilemma makes the cost of domestic workers far more expensive than a business is willing to sustain because the supply of money is affected by constant inflation. Because the US Dollar made itself the reserve currency in the world, the US has to export dollars everywhere and makes the USD financially strong. Which sounds good until you realize it also makes domestic production more expensive. There really isn't much incentive to build a factory in the US when other places do it for cheaper and given enough time, better because of institutional knowledge from climbing the ladder chain. It's how Japan's auto industry overtook the US industry by the 1980s, they made cheaper cars because their labor cost were cheaper even though they have comparable living standards. The UAV workers strike exacerbated the already rising cost of US skilled labor. This phenomenon can be extrapolated to China and Vietnam and everywhere else in other industries.

So, Trump's tariffs are good? No because he didn't do it to promote fledgling domestic industries. He uses it more like sanctions, which got everyone overseas to question whether doing business to the US is a good idea at all. When you're Vietnam or India and get slapped with a 50% tariff on all your exports and artificially increases cost (and reduced sales) while also being aware US sanctions authorize the theft of US bonds, selling to the US market exclusively becomes a dodgy prospect, especially when there's alternative markets that don't stick tariffs for petty reasons like buying Russian gas.

Now the US is hyper financialized. The only people that can get rich in the US are finance bros i.e. money shufflers. Every other industry has too high labor input costs to start up and the loss of institutional knowledge means the US has to reclimb the value ladder. Healthcare may be the largest private employer for the US, but it isn't because it's cheap.

See, there are legitimate criticisms to be made of Trump's--and the US's in general--economic policies, but Dev and the Left are totally unsuited at arguing these points. At the risk of Tim Pool-ism, it does require nuance to understand incredibly complex problems with no easy answers. Trump has trouble answering it and the Commies are eating crayons as a solution.

Theres a video making the rounds in the Sargon political circles about Africans viewing time in a diffrent way and being unable to visualize the future. Reading this makes me think of that.

See, while I mostly agree with everything you said, I am willing to cut Trump some slack in this regard. The solutions to these problems are not only complex, but the power of a president is too limited to enact the changes needed to tackle these problems. Not only are 8 years in office way too short to properly fix everything, but between America being democratic and having universal suffrage, it means that there are way too many tards and bad actors on all sides to actually impliment any kind of wide spread changes. I mean lets be real, Biden walked up and promised everyone big fat fucking checks in the mail if hey voted for him and you know that despite it being a horrible idea, there are some retards that voted for him just because of that. And you expect those people to be able to sit down, read about a nuanced problem, and then have the foresight to undergo any kind of period of suffering for a better outcome?

And don't get me wrong, there are plenty on the right that are the same way but in different ways. Like the brainlets that vote based on religon and how much a man is willing to suck off isreal. Which is why claiming left or right exist and "both sides do it" is kinda stupid. Should really be Jerfersonians vs Hamiltonians but......whatever.

So when Trump comes in with simplistic, blunt, and flawed solutions it's not really shocking or honestly that bad. Like going after illegal immigrants that have commited violent crimes. Does there need to be major reorms to the system and a deportation of ALL illegals? Yeah, sure. You bet. But Trump doesn't have access to that because either of tards or the system is designed not to give that kind of power to him. So this next solution is the best we can get to make sure the nation works a little longer and hopefully in the time we buy, get to the point where we are able to fix things properly.

BUT NAH!!!!!!! LeTs PoSt A "fElL fOr It AgAiN" aWaRd MeMe!1!!1 Abuse it more, I'm sure it won't become the next "Thanks Obama"

You know as a former fan that used to be in one of Dev's older servers before they were nuked, I wish I had saved some of that stuff, but at the same time I'd rather not look through that shit again to post it.
Does DevMicro have anything else to say other than "both sides except this side is more 'badder'"? It sure gets stale after a while.
What else can you expect from an "enlightened centrist"?

Dev is unable to help himself, his tongue always moves to the boot

and yes, this came in the middle of his discussion with Artemis with Dev demanding proof that democrats are worse than republicans with censorship, the universe is clowning on Dev

He really loves gloating about dubiously sourced information he only skims over himself, the Ruby Ridge spergout he had on that seethe stream a while back is the best example, but as people are pointing out here he does it all the time. If it frustrates Artemis he's really got nobody to blame but himself for constantly engaging with this bad faith leaf. It's still fun to watch though.

Dev will forever cope with the fact that his 4-hour "Trump almost killed democracy" video becomes less believable every time he exposes his framework as just ignoring facts that go against the regurgitated narrative.

So, quick question about Dev's "extended cast" as I like to call them. Any update on the Dev video that Scrump is supposed to make?

And if he ever does come out with it how much of it do we actually believe? Because doing a quick over view of Scrump and crew, I think he's either gone insane, disapeared up his own asshole, or both. Like every other thing he posts seems to be about how every event proves we're all doomed due to jews/shadow gov and looking at Ayden Paladan's twitter I think he may be trying to start a cult. So like, can we take it at face value and add it to the lore?

I doubt Scrump is gonna make the vid, because between Dev and him, there is likely some kinda MAD i.e. they can shit-talk one another all they like, but one airing the dirty laundry of the other will invite retaliation and mutual destruction.
Honestly, I really think this is one of the few things Dev got slightly right, in that he completely lost it during COVID thanks to troon bussy and cocaine or whatever; and living in the 4th-world nation that is UK has probably sent him doom-spiralling that much harder.

I think in one of the seethes a while ago he said the response videos will come shortly after the rebranding. Given that Scrump seems to have quietly dropped it and Aydin has washed her hands of Dev sperging there isn't really anything recent for him to respond to. Good odds it gets quietly forgotten so Dev can devote more time to having a mental breakdown on twitter.

Dev still has Kirsche and Ace as targets tough.
