The Mehdi Hasan tweet is particularly foul, in that it blatantly lies about many of the cases.

The guy who shot the people in Minnesota was a former Walz staffer. The Paul Pelosi attacker was a fucking l*af like Dev and from San Francisco with no political affiliation ever brought (and likely a go-go boy).

The guy who killed that hambeast in Charlottesville had the antifaggots rush his car.

Not to mention all the cases where it was either a "threat" or didn't happen.

Classic Dev.

The plot to kidnap Gretchen Witmer was literally an entrapment plot by the FBI and there was an entire court case about. What a dishonest faggot.

I think most that would have.. But Dev, Hasan, etc realized they're the next "I'll kill them because I hate what they say targets". This time the target would be seen as "someone in the same field" and coming out in favor would actually just make them the "top of the list"
 
Arch and Sargon were answering superchats on the Stamford Bridge podcast about Dev's retarded takes, both said Dev needs to stop stirring the pot. Sargon said he's tired of going to bat for Dev (seemingly unaware that Dev said he doesn't consider Sargon a friend) and then Dev showed up in chat saying "I didn't even do anything". Ace was in the chat too, but he seemed to have left just before Dev showed up.

And they're not as non-offensive as Charlie Kirk either. They get shot, regular people will shrug, maybe say a bland, "oh no, don't go down to their level..." and that's that. Not getting their body flown on Air Force 2 or anything like that.

"Liberals don't claim the shooter as their own" is a amazing Dev quote, because it is him focusing on a total non issue that no one mentioned or talked about.

That is not the thing. People are talking about how liberals were cheering he was shot, making excuses about how he did it to himself by daring to have those opinions, and making light of a political assassination. No one jumped in to claim the shooter was one of their own in the shitlib side of the aisle, but they were all extremely happy about it and eager to dance on Kirk's grave.

I still maintain that Dev is pathetically trying to recreate and replay the conditions of his long-gone and wasted youth, when he was happier and when railing against the religious right, Jack Thompson, George Bush, and Stephen Harper was the young person thing.

Now, the young people are moving more right, and his nostalgia trip is being ruined, just like his failed life. So he goes all ODD-like contrarianism, as if he were an angsty teen.
