Here's the thing Dev is missing: it doesn't matter if the liberals (and by that Dev means the liberal left) claim him as one of their own, very few movements will actively say "yes, the shooter is in our camp" because it's bad optics. But the liberals have been courting more radical and more extreme progressivism over the past twenty years, including allowing radical and extreme progressives to take up leadership - and more importantly, legislative seats - within the liberal parties. This isn't unique to the Democrats either, this is pretty much any kind of leftist/anti-conservative party in the Western world at the moment.

Even if the shooter was not a liberal type, it's still a liberal shooter because the liberal parties have done both jack and shit to excise the radical extremists from their ranks and shun them from the tent at large. While the libs continue to court these movements, the blood IS on their hands, and unfortunately it looks like the only way to light a fire under their asses to kick the progs to the curb involves the gruesome deaths of innocents.

The point about the whipping is based on a well known DNC hoax where they used a picture of a Border Patrol on a horse where the reins were flayling around to claim the officer was whipping a migrant.
