Ok, serious question. I haven't been around KF that long. Litteraly just got on this year because I hate Dev and have a job with long stretches of down time. I'm not familiar with the average lolcow. Are they typically this misanthropic or is Dev just an anomoly? Like, say what you will about Chris-chan. I dont ever recall that guy posting joy at hearing large groups of people were aborted.

Dev is arguably mild compared to some other cows on site. He is very sedentary, he doesn't do stuff that'll put him in any danger. But he does tweet a lot. And has no filter. And cannot learn from his mistakes, the hallmark of a lolcow

This post is a prefect encapsulation of dev's twitter brain rot. If you take a step back and try to parse it as a normal human being, it's completely unhinged.

Who is MAGA in this context? Is it my neighbor down the road with a MAGA flag? Is it Trump? Is it pro Trump influencers? Is it literally fucking me? Who exactly does dev think bears the responsibility of reporting a random crime on behalf of all of MAGA? Is every single person who voted for Trump personally responsible for... talking about random crimes on twitter in a timely manner?

Besides that, what is even the alleged sin here? Not posting about a crime within a week of it happening? First of all, if you're not a complete fucking tool like dev, it's self apparent that it takes time for these things to process. And hey, would you look at that, THE FOOTAGE OF THE MURDER WAS RELEASED A FEW DAYS AGO, ON THE 5TH. Right around the time it went viral, who'd've fucking thunk it? Not dev apparently.

By the way, she was murdered on the 22nd not the 25th. As usual, dev is spouting off about things he doesn't even know the basic facts about. But again, what exact is he crying about? "MAGA" wasn't posting on social media (this is what he actually means by "reporting") about a crime... until they were? People didn't care about something until they found out about it? What exactly is he alledging?

He is implying that lack of posting is evidence of lack of caring. To the terminally online like dev, if you are not poosting you are implying a lack of care. So, for those of you less familiar with Vtubers, Korone is a really big name in the asian side and fairly well known on the english side. She's the deffinition of a tomboy, and said to play up her friendship with a cat girl Vtuber, Okayu (sp) to the point viewers joke they're married/dating.

The two things she's most famous for (in my mind) is for saying 'yubi.' Yubi relates to the Japanese mafia having members cut off finger tips to show either loyalty or as a way to show penance for making mistakes.

The other thing she is known for was her doom playthroughs in which she played the original doom games while trying to speak english. These streams got so popular, that shortly after the release of Doom Eternal, there was an easter egg at the start screen tjat would change the logo from DOOM to DOOG. It was an easter egg that was snuck in and the dev team quickly had patched out.

But perhaps one of the best ways to show how popular she is, would be that Sega made her a brand embassador. She was representing Sega in Japan the same way a film star in America would represent Rolex.

Needless to say, if they try shit, this wont be Pikamee 2.0. Girl has a dedicated fan base and a corpo with some serious cash and lawyers. If Pikamee was an internet sweet heart that was sadly pushed around, Korone is the same. But with a very big group of angry people that rely on Korone for their payday. Most of the people who are going hard on Trump about Epstein at the moment so obviously don't actually care and just have TDS. It's pretty easy to tell with how they can't even name a single other person who was involved with Epstein, the obvious Mossad connection that they never bring up, how they were virtually silent from Epstein's death to 2024, or how the fact that Trump nearly got his head blown off doesn't seem to factor on the fact that he might get scared of releasing the files.
