The general gist I'm getting from skimming through the thread is that Trump winning mind-broke Dev, and he's been spending the past few months attempting to justify to his audience, "No, you guys! I'm not one of those right-wing grifters you guys!" Everything for him has just been going downhill ever since he started using that rantsona, because he wants to purge his audience of all the center-right people that watched his content when the rest of the Internet shifted hard-leftward.

In a way, he's doing a lot of the stuff he talked about in the social recognition video, where he doesn't want to "be seen" with the right, since his hatred for Trump and the right grows by the day.
