Ian's not exactly the best guy to hang your hat on, either. He's a middling engineer that's just autistic enough to make you think he'd be an expert. But he's got a great voice for mini documentaries and he is a god-tier researcher. I'd trust him to tell me the history of a design and not a lot else

Anyone who thought legal eagle would agree with Kyle were completely fools. Devin hates anyone or anything associated with the right so much that I would not be surprised if he refused to turn right in his car or when walking out of fear of becoming a republican.

You seem to be of the opinion that "firearms expert" is limited to "firearms use expert" and not much else.

There are 0300s out there that are experts with using their M4. Does that make them all "firearm experts"? No. It means they are a bog-standard USMC riflemen. Hand them something different and ask them to field strip it and the parts that didn't get lost would get shoved up their nose with the crayons. We saw exactly this happen when the USMC used the Reising SMG in WW2. The gun wasn't Marine-proof and had to be withdrawn from frontline service.

Expertise is far broader than one narrow concept. History, use, development, repair, etc are all important factors.

You actually understand the context of why this isn't a case of "one side is right vs wrong".
It is literally a case of people on both the left and the right trying to justify their people's actions during an event that nobody had any good reason to be participating in.

I am just imagining people in the future using the Rittenhouse court case as a justification to commit mass shootings, just like how people abuse Sand Your Ground to get away with coordinated murder.

I wonder if Devin realized that Kyle had a decent chance of walking, so he withheld is woke spin on it until after the verdict.
That way he can profit off some legal cope arguments.

Justify it anyway you want. His actions killed 2 people. He gloated about his killings, mocking political oponents. Then he walked, even though his killings are on video. Now there are 6 deaths and 60 injured. Many children. Antifa is already buying rifles. Regardless of his original intentions, the results of his actions have been terrible for America and he should be ashamed.

I would assume so. My guess is he kept his mouth shut so he did not have to eat crow when the verdict came out. Now he is as you said, doing legal cope since hindsight is always 20/20 (more like 20/200 in this case)
