Because normies need to learn wtf ray-tracing is and whats a better game to do it then the one they played just last year
I'm abit surprised they arn't taking notes from what the PC community is doing and not just cribbing some of the modes they made

Like Haptic feedback for using Blue Rose, sounds cool more immersive and probably satisfying to pull shit off with, but it's not a system upgrade sort of feature. especially since I could just buy vergil standalone anyway, which props on capcom if this was them during the 360 days you know they would try to keep that shit next gen exclusive.
I still hope it does come to PC since stuff like raytracing can help DMC 5 age better visually as the years go on, but considering it still is one of the most impressive games when it comes to games that prioritize fps count (mostly due to how the RE engine is so great it was basically last gens version of MT framework) I don't think it needed much of a visual boost anyway

yeah like i said. Raytracing isn't important. PC already has turbo. PC will likely get LDK soon through the cheat table. The most important thing is us getting Vergil, since you just linked the Hitchhiker, Hitch has even said "yeah, if Vergil had bad mechanics like embed sword to trick or anything. I can fix that. That's okay, I'll handle that. but making Vergil FEEL good and not be janky as shit and adding new abilities? I can't do that, but capcom did."

I could see them expanding on yamato alone to be interesting enough, it would be abit like what DmC tried to do with stances but it seems they might be using stuff like becoming DT V or doppelganger to try and change him up from 3SE and 4SE. all that shit plus concentration might be enough though I might just be abit optmistic.
What are they doing with Blue Rose? I’ve always hated how Nero’s charge shot worked and the only reason I can make good use of it, or have V work at all, without giving myself carpal tunnel with rebound controls is because I have a pad with redundant buttons.

TL,DR they are adding rumble effects to moves. nothing related to balance, just physical feedback. it's sort of like those N64 games that had rumblepack support except more intense.

Modders are giving Nero Just Shot, basically fire your gun the MOMENT Nero finishes reloading and it's an instant level 3 charge shot.

We're finally getting a Vergil mode but no confirmation on Xbone or PC yet.
Wait, I thought Vergil's files were in the game and people managed to unlock them. This is from July 29th.
As for DLCs, I remember I watched developer's stream and they said "no, there is no DLC content in plans", so I guess we will get something only when Capcom fucks up in it's other games and will try to milk something from that brief period when people thought they'd changed for the better.
 
I was looking at Asmus Toys 1/6 Vergil and am now extremely on the fence of picking it up even though its up there in price. I really want to do the bad thing and buy it. It looks so fucking good.

I thought the trailer said that vergil is going to be released later for current gen systems.

They unlocked him yes, but he's about 10% of a character. He only has about 5-7 moves max. Is extremely jank, for example his Lock on doesn't make him auto-face enemies. His dodge is pretty much entirely useless. He can get trapped in weird hit stuns. His taunt can not be acted out of unless you use Animation Cancel settings in cheat engine, and even then it's still jank. His summoned swords have no real impact and can not be held.

even just the few seconds of Capcoms Vergil we've seen. There's no comparing. It's insane to try. It's literally the difference between something made with professional tools by professionals and something a bunch of people cobbled together using shit they found in the street.

now with all that being said, there is still concerns that Capcoms Vergil is going to be bare bones with no alternate weapons and all that. But at the very least he won't be jank as a mother fucker.

That’s kind of the impression I got with him too. I feel like them letting you chain supers in Sin DT with him is pretty dumb. They do so much fucking damage, and Dante loses SDT if he does LT or judgement (and do half the damage) and Nero has to blow out several arms to get that shit.

I mean there's two other unnamed DLC packs they added to the steam version so I still have hope for LDR and Turbo being added offically

I'm just surprised judgement cut end didnt also make you spend concentration, since that just leads into an easy follow up into World of V

Anyone have an idea about a future game will have? And what are the odds that Nero is going to be like Gohan where he's in a position to be the main guy of the series, only to be forced back into a supporting role after the main man/poster boy comes back because reasons?
