At first this image looks a bit more innocuous compared to the other three, but tylerrigby2015, the creator, has a gallery full of the same thing: Garry's Mod renders of an enormous Spider Man overlooking cities.

Now for those that wonder, "Will Sonic and Sally ever be together in the NEW Contunity?" Well, if SEGA Wants to make Sonic an enterainment icon, I think this is one of the leashes on Sonic they need to let loose for that to happen.

Because, look at this way, in 1993, when Super Mario Bros got a movie, did they just get it because they were a Nintendo Property (a successful, mind you), well yes.

But the screenwriter/screenwriters knew you couldn't just do a movie of the Mario Bros, without , 1. trying to fleash out the characters, and 2. have romantic love instrests for them. And yes, 3. have a good story plot to go with it. (Hey they tried)

How does this relate with Sega trying to make Sonic an enterainment icon?

Well, if you're a company trying to expand your franchise character beyond what he/she is known for, then you have to make some changes to make it work, wither you like those changes or not.

And one of those changes, might be lifting the ban on romance in one of the main mediums in which your character makes the most finaical success.

And in the case of Sonic, that would both Archie Sonic Comic Series (The Main Sonic Comic and the Spinoff, Sonic Universe, along with various graphic novels and archives, etc..).

This also could inclued properties like Sonic Boom, varioius Sonic games to come, and perhaps even future movies and shows. The reasoning for this, would give SEGA a stronger chance at making Sonic the Enterainment icon that they want him to be. And if your asking why?

It would (as I mentioned above with the Mario Movie) flesh out his character even more.

Because if your someone like SEGA, you can't just keep your main money making mascot 1-D forever, espeically if you have a movie planned for him to be in, come 2018. You have to allow him and characters related with him to become more developed and fleshed out, especially if your going to expand them into the enterainment world.

As far as the Comics go, this could be the opening that is needed to allow a Sonic and Sally relationship to get off the ground in this soft retconned/rebooted contunity that's being presented to us currently.

And perhaps that opening could be expanded even more.
What I mean, is you could get a SonSal relationship going, and breath fresh new life into it. As well as other possible relationships could slowly, but surely develop as a result of the ban being lifted.

I mean if Sega and mostly Archie, and some of the comic writers (maybe with the execption of Ian Flynn) plan to start listening to the fans more often, we could see relationships we only dreamed about, wrote fan fic and drew fan art about. For example, some fans have come and said NicolexTails could be a cute pairing or even Tails and Amy.

Like I've be saying here, if Sega wants to make Sonic an Enterainment Icon outside of the world of video games, then lifting the ban on romance, not just in the comics, but all Sonic related medias, would be a huge start, if you ask me.

I mean, if your a SonAmy supporter/fan, wouldn't you like to see SonAmy finally become offical in BOOM or even the games. Well this ban being lifted to help establish Sonic as Enterainment icon would help make that a reality.

And what would make it better, and easier for fans and for Sega/Archie Comics themselves, is to take a page out of the TMNT playbook and treat them like different universes/zones.

Examples , SonSal relationship (Archie Sonic Comic Universe), SonAmy (Boom/Game Universe), etc... It would (In my Opnion) take a whole lot of stress off those in charge and the fans. And would REALLY help expand Sonic into an Enterainment Icon and the Sonic Franchise into a more successful Enterainment franchise, that goes beyond the world of gaming.

As far as the possbile writer of the comics to make this possbiilte a reality, I would have to go with Aleah Baker, yep Ian's wife. Because she has proven that she takes her time to not only flesh the story out, but the characters as well.

And I believe she would be a great choice to start the road to a SonSal relatioship in the Comics, and perhaps even more. Because she would take her time with it, to help delevop the romance that would begin between Sonic and Sally and do it right.

Overall, that's what I believe will be the reasoning that we (possibly very soon) will see Sonic and Sally together in the comics again in the near future.

And all because SEGA wants to make Sonic an Enterainment Icon beyond the world of video games.
Well lifting the ban on romance in the Archie Sonic Comics and all other Sonic media would be a huge start.

Also probably has no clue who Marvin Gaye was. Just thinks cops are genociding the shit out of black folks I guess and figured that Gaye would support BLM and slacktivism and such.
